This burgundy 1990 Porsche 911 Cabriolet appears to be a well-kept low-mileage example. It is powered by a 3.6L flat-six engine housed in the rear. The five-speed manual sends power to all four wheels. The 3.6 was rated at 250 horsepower when new and has driven the car to the 66,000 km shown on the odometer.

The car appears to be mostly original, few modifications are evident from the ad. (One item that has been changed out is the Clarion AM/FM/CD head unit.) The burgundy paint shows well. There are no photos with the top up, but it appears to be a light brown. There is also a parade top to cover the soft top in the same colour, which provides an effective contrast. While it is being offered a long way to the east, seller suggests that this C4 has spent most of its life in Alberta and British Columbia.
A retractable rear spoiler is a feature to retain traction at speed, it engages and folds itself down automatically. Common on the 964 series, this example sports a set of Design 90 wheels, like those currently on offer in one of our live auctions closing tomorrow.
The interior is a two-tone burgundy dash on white seats. It includes a few goodies, the most notable being the venerable Porsche sport seats up front. The white naturally requires constant mindfulness, something in evidence by their condition, there are even white floor mats – though there are darker ones on top to protect them. Some wear is evident on the leather covering both the driver’s seat and shift knob. Air conditioning, power windows, power seats and door speakers reflect the extensive equipment list.
Instrumentation features a centrally-mounted tachometer flanked within the steering wheel opening by a speedometer and dual-purpose oil gauge housing pressure and temperatures. Farther over on each side are an analog clock and another multi-gauge for fuel and temperature. These are fronted by the four-spoke steering wheel within which is an airbag.
Sadly, there are no photos on offer with the engine cover up so there are no views of the 3.6. On the one hand, the seller notes that “stacks” of maintenance receipts are available. On the other, seller includes that the car is being sold “as is”.
