This is a second generation 997 C4S, often referred to as a 997.2. Engine displacement remained at 3.8L though the factory did manage to squeeze out 25 more horsepower to 380. Most noticeable aesthetically on the 997.2 is likely the taillights, which went to a new design and LEDs. Side mirrors and front bumper, with larger intakes, were also changed. The exhaust system was also changed but this C4S has an aftermarket exhaust.

This 2010 has been repainted. The matte finish is not everyone’s cup of tea but it does have its advocates. Many Porsche seekers are looking for original paint but for someone looking for matte, original paint is a “can’t have” for a 2010 model.
This 2010 has several other modifications from stock so it is not the car for someone seeking a car as it rolled out of the factory. For most, the carbon look is a good match for the matte finish. Werks 1 is the supplier for both the rear diffuser and headlight rings. The duck tail style spoiler, offered from the factory for one year only in the extensive history of the 911 – 1973, is a Getty Design item. The badging has also been changed from “factory”. We also notice that it does not have the Carbon package – the shift knob and handbrake are the standard rather than carbon fibre.
On the performance side, the exhaust has been switched out to a system by TUBI and powder coating has been added to the pipes. We figure this is an indication of a car not originally optioned with Porsche Sport Exhaust.
