Here is a resto-mod in the form of a 1941 Chevrolet 2-door Sedan. The word itself is a combination of restoration and modification and the value of this car comes from the modifications and the parts used therein whereas the 1939 Buick we have listed on auction this week is valuable on account of the attention to originality observed in carrying out the restoration.

The pale blue paint is sharp and presumably as part of the resto process. Inside the upholstery is camel brown.
This Chevy is powered by a modern 6.0 litre Chevrolet LS engine. Other modern features leaving originality in the dust are a six-speed automatic transmission, disc brakes all around and a Camaro clip. The big V8 powers the rear wheels.

We spot a few anachronisms in the ad: wheels, steering wheel and the seat belts would not have been offered new. Though the spare tire is a nod to the past, we suspect that there was not a 12-volt battery sitting in the trunk back in ’41!

Underneath, the car has had most components replaced with modern versions as opposed to restoring original parts in an effort to secure the vintage experience.
The car presents well, though there is so much more to know beyond the information in the ad shared by the seller.
