2022 05 20 Posting – CCC Blog Post, Collectable Cars to Buy Now
Consistent with macro-economic conditions that have been favourable in recent years, the collector car market has seen continued advances, which can be seen on an annual basis among collectors’ cars. (REF. 1) When discussing collector cars, we are discussing vintage, classic, and antique cars. The main differences among the three categories of collector cars are the age of the car, the value of the car, and the historic significance of the car (REF. 2).
Conversely, one of the most attractions of buying a collector car is the driving experience. The right collector car is more than just another vehicle, it is a time capsule of an earlier and likely simpler time, sometimes filled with generations worth of memories. Driving an old car could be quite romantic, the nostalgia that comes with cruising down the road with a timeless piece of art captures the attention of many, and the feeling of piloting a classic car is unmatched from the raw engine sounds to the simplicity of a vintage car.
In addition, understanding where a car is from can give one a better understanding at how a certain region lived and commuted in that car’s era. With this understanding, one can use the vehicle to be his/her personal time capsule into a certain time period within a certain nation. Thus, we will discuss some of our favourite cars arranged by geographical location.
