We gave you our race report Monday – click here to re-visit – and once again thank REVTV Canada for inviting us to the event.  Among the parade lappers was a group with BMWs and we wandered its tent area.  We snapped a few pics and gawked as the cars made their way out to the track.  Followers of our auction for the 1985 BMW M635CSi will be interested to know that the BMW M1 above is a promotional vehicle for Marcus Glarner Motors, the outfit that built the M635CSi’s engine – no coincidence as set out in the listing, M88 is the M1 engine, the M635CSi’s is an M88/3.  The BMW race car immediately below is also a Marcus Glarner Motors car.
