2022 07 11 posting – Burlington Car Show, held July 9, 2022

This past Saturday was the annual Burlington Car Show in Burlington, Ontario.  The city’s main drag, Brant Street, was closed for the day so that the cars could be showcased.  There was a display of exotics “behind the velvet rope” and we snapped our fair share of those but today we bring you some of the show cars on display and save the highline stuff for another day.  There was no judging in a show like this but we can advise there were show winners on hand.  With the detail on display on the ’37 Rolls above (and the photo of it below), it is easy to see how it, for one, is a show winner and worthy of the velvet rope treatment.  However, the latter is just not owner Steve’s style; he even lets interested children sit in the driver’s seat on occasion.  Congratulations to organizer Ron Baker and his team at Driven for a successful day; as well for choosing beneficiary charity Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation.

3rd car back in the picture of the blue Porsche 914 is a 1968 AMX in Scarab Gold Metallic. If you know me… the two seat AMXs are always going to be my choice 🙂
