After some great feedback on the page we brought you last week, we wanted to share a little more of what we saw at the Canadian International Auto Show Media Day February 13.  Call it also a post-mortem on the standout show, which concluded yesterday.  A highlight of the show for us is pictured above.  As many would already know we have begun a sponsorship relationship with the Corvette Club of Ontario and, as a result were invited to its Member meeting back on February 5.  Not only were we made to feel welcome, we were also treated to a talk given by Andrew Wojteczko, the owner of – you guessed it! – the winning team in the GTD Class in the 24 hours of Daytona in the car above.  The talk was vivid, we almost felt like we were in the stands at Daytona, and seeing the now-retired Corvette at the show reinforced our vigor.  The victory entitles AWA the esteemed privilege of racing at LeMans in June, the team will bring a newly kitted-out Z06 GT3.R.  The rest of the show?  Also fabulous!  While on the topic of Corvettes, check the 4-1-1 on the new (only) 1064 HP ZR-1, below, as well as some other vantage points in the lower gallery.  While on the topic of winning, how about that Team Canada OT victory in the 4 Nations Cup last week?  We are convinced that our page and mailer (get on our mailing list!) last week had something to do with it, so we have included the Palisade in 4 Nations livery again – this time in relieved celebration.  In deference to another club with which we advertise, Mercedes-Benz Club Canada, we slipped in a GT63 as well – definitely not for the faint of heart.  Did you get to the show?  What did you like?  If not, what do you like on this page?  Thanks for watching…
