Some told us we were crazy but for the second year in a row, we hosted a Cars n’ Coffee event the weekend preceding Remembrance Day. We offered poppies to attendees and encourage all to attend, watch or listen to a ceremony Tuesday and stop for a moment to think of how much we have to appreciate from the sacrifices of our veterans. Back to the cars – we had a Euro-Brit Theme this day but another important phrase on our promotional poster: “All Interesting Cars Welcome”. We enjoyed a great showing of Porsche, Corvette and Mustang – whose clubs we support and cars we sell, a 911 Turbo and 1961 Corvette just last week. We also support a few British clubs, though these cars seem to get stored earlier than some others! We enjoy a relationship with Mercedes-Benz Club Canada as well and it follows that scheduling these events can always be a challenge – MBCC had an event of its own so we only saw a couple of M-B’s, including one we sold in the early days of the site. Thanks also to another club with which we enjoy close ties, Hagerty Garage+Social, the facility host. Exceptional weather, enthusiastic attendees, and hot coffee brewed by the best car locale around for a crisp morning combined to produce a very successful event. Thanks to those who RSVP’d. Enjoy the gallery.
