42K km 2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Fastback 6-Speed Manual

We have on offer a 2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Fastback 6-Speed Manual with under 42,000 km.  This example is finished in a colour Ford calls Guards Metallic – not seen frequently, it shows a range of green to grey depending on the light.  The interior on this 50th anniversary Mustang is a charcoal cloth, again a less frequently seen item, leather being more common.  The car shows very well with few signs of its well below average mileage, it was just detailed in preparation for being listed with us.  The detailer’s work is evident in the clean interior, as well as under the hood where we find the 3.7 litre V6 engine.  While this car observes the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, it is an example of the first year of the S550 body style – featuring many updates including the first model year of independent rear suspension for every Mustang produced.  This 2015 Mustang 50th Anniversary comes with a clean Carfax, linked in “CCC Vital Info”.  Ontario buyers, please note:  This car is being sold with an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate and comes with extended warranty coverage through November 2025 – please see the related documentation in our gallery.

The body is finished in Guards Metallic (Ford paint code HN) and features a front lip spoiler, side skirts, sequential rear indicator lights and a rear diffuser. Additional exterior equipment includes automatic HID headlamps, LED fog lamps and tail lamps, heated side mirrors, and twin opposite-end polished exhaust exits.  The entire was ceramic coated in June 2024, resulting in the exterior shine evident in the photos.  We do note a slight dent on the roof, by the B-pillar on the driver’s side.  It is photographed up close in our gallery, with a twonie coin for perspective.

Factory installed 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels with Mustang logo’d centre caps are silver-finished and wear Y-speed rated 235/50 Michelin Pilot All Season tires at all four corners – these tires were installed in June 2024; date code of 2024 is photographed in the gallery. The car rides on an independent suspension all around, with McPherson struts and a tubular stabilizer bar up front, coil springs, solid stabilizer bar and monotube dampers in the rear.  Braking is by a four-wheel power disc ABS setup, 320 mm vented discs fore and aft with aluminum calipers.  Brakes were inspected in May 2024 and a new air filter and spark plugs installed so with this servicing, there have been over $2,000 in updates on this car in the past couple of months – work order with an inspection report at that time has been added to the gallery.

Front bucket seats are trimmed in charcoal cloth and the upholstery on the split-fold rear seats is consistent.  Additional equipment includes a turned metal-look dash applique with a Mustang badge calling out the history of the marque, dual-zone automatic climate control, Sync 3 infotainment with navigation, a rear-view camera with centre stack display and stock floor mats in the front which snap into place on the driver’s side, indicating they are a match for the car.  The 50th Anniversary emblem from the rear of the car is photographed in several photographs on the dash – this is the original item, which the owner wanted to preserve; that installed between the sequential taillights is a replacement OEM Ford item.

There is a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel fronting a 260 km/h speedometer and an 8000 RPM tachometer with a 6500 RPM redline.  Incorporated within these are a fuel gauge and water temperature gauge, respectively.  Between is a driver-adjustable digital multi-function display with auxiliary gauges, incorporated into which is the odometer showing under 42,000 km since new.  The gallery shows photos of much of the different functionality available in the system.  In the centre stack is a display where infotainment data is displayed, as well as the picture from the reverse camera when this gear is engaged, below which are HVAC buttons, including for the dual zone temperature control.  At the bottom of the stack are found engine start/stop button as well as switches for four-way flashers, traction control, and the heated steering wheel.  At the base is a 12-volt outlet and USB input, further power supplies are found inside the console storage container.

The 300 horsepower V6 is hooked up to a six-speed manual transmission to drive the rear wheels.  This maximum power is achieved at 6500 RPM, complemented by 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 RPM.  The car’s most recent oil service was in May 2024, under 2000 km ago.  This Mustang runs a replacement battery by OE Pro Series.  Other service history is listed on the clean Carfax report, linked in “CCC Vital Info”, with the May 2024 work order on the gallery.  Some fraying of hood insulation is shown in the gallery.  The extended warranty coverage is transferable for $80 and good through 100,000 km / November 2025 and covers steering, electrical, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, cooling, electronics, emissions, seals and gaskets – full details are available in actual contract, included in the gallery.
