Original Owning Family 28K mi 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX

Here is a low mileage 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX from the final year of tenth generation production, the second most recent in Thunderbird lineage. This T-bird has been with the selling family since new and is finished in its original Laser Red Pearl Metallic paint over a Light Prairie Tan leather interior. Under the hood is a 3.8 litre V6 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The car’s equipment list also includes optional 15” chrome alloys, air conditioning, cruise control, monochromatic side mouldings, a rear spoiler and power group to operate accessories in the cabin. Included in the sale are two keys and original owner’s manual.
The 15” chrome alloys are lined in a set of Michelin radials measuring 215/70. Under the wheels is a set of four-wheel disc brakes. The clean Carfax report is linked in “CCC Vital Info” while service records over the years are photographed and appear in our gallery.
The front buckets and rear bench are upholstered in Light Prairie Tan leather, the driver’s seat showing creasing. Carpets and door cards are a matching tan while the dash, centre stack accessories, steering wheel and console appointed with cup holders are a contrasting black. Outboard rear passengers are furnished with three point belts, as installed on the front buckets.
The steering wheel hub features a Thunderbird logo and LX emblem. This car being a US market model, which was imported into Canada in 1998, the wheel fronts a 120 MPH speedometer, complemented by a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel and coolant temperature. The odometer is six digits and shows under 28,000 miles.
The 3.8 litre V6 engine was factory rated at 145 horsepower. It drives the rear wheels through the four-speed automatic transmission including overdrive. Ontario buyers, please note: the car passed an Ontario safety check in May 2026. The linked Carfax report sets out recent routine maintenance. Owner posits that the car has not been driven in winter.
