The body is finished in Guards Metallic (Ford paint code HN) and features a front lip spoiler, side skirts, sequential rear indicator lights and a rear diffuser. Additional exterior equipment includes automatic HID headlamps, LED fog lamps and tail lamps, heated side mirrors, and twin opposite-end polished exhaust exits. The entire was ceramic coated in June 2024, resulting in the exterior shine evident in the photos. We do note a slight dent on the roof, by the B-pillar on the driver’s side. Factory installed 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels with Mustang logo’d centre caps are silver-finished and wear Y-speed rated 235/50 Michelin Pilot All Season tires at all four corners – these tires were installed in June 2024; date code of 2024 is photographed in the gallery. The car rides on an independent suspension all around, with McPherson struts and a tubular stabilizer bar up front, coil springs, solid stabilizer bar and monotube dampers in the rear. Braking is by a four-wheel power disc ABS setup, 320 mm vented discs fore and aft with aluminum calipers. Brakes were changed in May 2024 so with the new tires and brakes, there have been over $3,000 in updates on this car in the past couple of months.
Front bucket seats are trimmed in charcoal cloth and the upholstery on the split-fold rear seats is consistent. Additional equipment includes a turned metal-look dash applique with a Mustang badge calling out the history of the marque, dual-zone automatic climate control, Sync 3 infotainment with navigation, a rear-view camera with centre stack display and stock floor mats in the front which snap into place on the driver’s side, indicating they are a match for the car.
There is a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel fronting a 260 km/h speedometer and an 8000 RPM tachometer with a 6500 RPM redline. Incorporated within these are a fuel gauge and water temperature gauge, respectively. Between is a driver-adjustable digital multi-function display with auxiliary gauges, incorporated into which is the odometer showing under 42,000 km since new. In the centre stack is a display where infotainment data is displayed, as well as the picture from the reverse camera when this gear is engaged, below which are HVAC buttons, including for the dual zone temperature control. At the bottom of the stack are found engine start/stop button as well as switches for four-way flashers, traction control, and the heated steering wheel. At the base is a 12-volt outlet and USB input, further power supplies are found inside the console storage container.
The 300 horsepower six is hooked up to a six-speed manual transmission to drive the rear wheels. This maximum power is achieved at 6500 RPM, complemented by 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 RPM.
