2018 Mercedes-Benz S560 4Matic Long Wheelbase
Closes Tuesday, May 5, 2:45 pm ET, possibly subject to Second Chance and Last Chance Systems On offer is a 2018 Mercedes-Benz S560 4MATIC Long Wheelbase finished in Diamond White with a Beige Nappa Leather interior with contrasting darker upholstery and Burred Walnut wood accents on the door cards, dash fascia and centre console. This long wheelbase S-Class is powered by a 4.0 litre Biturbo V8 featuring cylinder shut-off to boost fuel economy. All four wheels are driven through the 9-speed automatic transmission. There is an extensive features list for this car included at the base of this listing. Some of its highlights include power-adjustable seats that are heated and ventilated – front and rear, heated steering wheel, LED headlights, 20” multi-spoke staggered AMG wheels, back-up camera, Parktronic, Active Park Assist, Active Blind-Spot Assist, a panoramic sunroof, and premium sound. Finished in Diamond White Metallic (M-B code 799), some more of the exterior features of this long version Mercedes flagship sedan include soft-close doors and trunk – demonstrated in our car review and demo videos, respectively – and panoramic sunroof. The car is also optioned with a Sport package and Light package. The front spoiler and side skirts are notable inclusions of the Sport package. Multi-spoke, staggered AMG wheels measure 20”. They are skinned in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ZP tires at all four corners, measuring 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear. The tires are Y-rated and we note 2022 date codes on each’s sidewall. The Carfax report sets out a tire installation date of January 2023, at approximately 40,000 km. Two rims show evidence of light curb contact. Wheels cover a four-wheel disc braking system featuring ABS. Up front, calipers are Mercedes-Benz branded and rotors are cross-drilled. For ride comfort, this S 560 is outfitted with active adjustable damping.
The cabin is very well equipped, with Nappa leather seating surfaces, both matching and contrasting upholstery and carpet appointments as well as high-gloss burred walnut wood surfaces throughout. The car is optioned with code 432, Dynamics Seat, Front Left and Right, which engage pneumatic air chambers to automatically inflate/deflate appropriate side bolsters during cornering for next-level lateral support; code 432 also includes a massaging feature through the pneumatic air chambers as well as active lumbar support. The seats are heated and ventilated, with power adjustments as well as memory for front occupants. Memory function extends to the heated steering wheel, interior mirror and power, heated exterior mirrors. Behind the three spoke multi-function steering wheel with prominent Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star is a set of paddles for driver-controlled transmission shifts. Extensive safety features are equipped beyond the ABS system in the form of knee air bags, rear side airbags and traffic sign recognition projected in the COMAND infotainment display – various views are demonstrated in our photos and videos, including climate control.
The 12” instrument cluster shows a speedometer topping out at 260 km/h. Adjacent is an 8000 RPM tachometer with 6250 RPM redline. Incorporated within is an odometer showing under 59,000 km and the car is to be delivered to its new owner with under 60,000 km. Premium ambiance illumination is in place as are Apple Car Play, Android Auto and Sirius satellite radio, through the premium sound system. There is a panoramic power sliding glass sunroof, with roof glass for rear passengers, both with adjustable shades. Under the hood is the 4.0L biturbo V8 engine, which was factory rated at 463 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. In addition to the aforementioned tire installation date, other recent service includes brake service in February 2025, approximately 10,000 km ago. The 9G-Tronic 9-speed transmission delivers power to all four wheels.
