Here is a 2003 BMW M3 Coupe which has been heavily modified for performance. Finished in Mystic Blue Metallic, this car was manufactured with a 3.2 litre S54 inline-six engine connected to a six-speed Sequential Manual Gearbox and driving the rear wheels. While the modifications are extensive, this remains a road-going car and, Ontario buyers take note, it is being sold with an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate. Modifications to original have been made on the exterior, interior, in the engine compartment and underneath – all in the interest of high performance. Highlighting the upgrades are an ESS Tuning G1 supercharger system, SMG w/CSL tune, 19″ Kranson Forged three-piece wheels and the Pandem widebody kit.
A US-market car, the car was imported to Canada in 2023 – formerly being titled in Florida. Beyond the Mystic Blue Metallic paint and Pandem widebody kit, there are exterior features in the form of carbon fibre components for a front splitter and rear wing mounted to the chassis – both are fastened using quick-release systems. The fender flares and front bumper cover were refinished in the past 3,000 km. The rear wing measures 70” and was manufactured by BattleAero. The CSL-style trunk lid is by Seibon, the GTR-style hood is by VIS Racing. Xenon headlights with Orion LED halos light the way, other than where a light has been removed in favour of an air intake; the side mirrors are faded and the next owner may choose to refinish them. The 19” Kranson 3-piece wheels have been refinished and are lined in Toyo Proxes R888R tires, 295/30 in the front, 325/30 in the rear. Underneath there is an ABS system with cooling ducts by HARD Motorsport, JBT Racing 6-piston front calipers, Rotara 4-piston rear calipers and Yellow Stuff brake pads. Sway bars and end links are by Hotchkis, two-way coilovers are by AST Suspension and rear control arms are by Turner Motorsports. Strut tower bracing is by DMG.
Front racing seats are by Corbeau, leather trimmed and model SSR while the rear seats have been removed in favour of custom paneling. The four-point half-cage is by Bayside and Racequip is the supplier of the six-point harness. The flat-bottomed steering wheel’s rim is covered in microsuede with red centring stripe and M-coloured stitching, manufactured by AZA. There are digital displays by AiM and Xtron – 9” for backup camera and navigation – to complement stock instrumentation. Also found in the cabin are carbon fibre trim, door cards with red pull straps by HARD Motorsports, shift knob by Macht Schnell and a parking brake boot in microsuede. The console is in the Euro style, absent cupholders and arm rest. There are also two fire extinguishers mounted in the cabin. Stock instrumentation remains in place and the digital odometer shows under 137,000 miles.

Main bearings were replaced in June 2020; as well, an overhaul of the Vanos system with a Beisan Systems pump disc, upper chain guide, cam sprocket bolts and seals was carried out. The secondary air pump and oxygen sensors have been removed.
The SMG sends power to the rear wheels, estimated at over 400 horsepower by the owner given the supercharger and the CSL tune that came with it. The supercharger is mounted with a Burkhart kit.
