flat-six mated to a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. This 987 Boxster ‘S’ is a US-market car
being offered by the estate of the longtime owner, whose executor is the owner’s son and handling the
sale directly. In triple black, the car is equipped with a black soft top, 19″ Carrera S wheels, a power rear
spoiler which raises automatically at speed, heated power-adjustable seats, a Bose sound system, the
factory CDR24 AM/FM/CD stereo, automatic climate control and cruise control. The car was registered
in Florida prior to the owner’s acquisition, having been imported to Canada in 2008.
Finished in its original Black, the Boxster ‘S’ features a power-operated Black convertible top. Additional
equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, silver-accented quarter panel intakes and roll bars, a speed-
operated rear spoiler and dual central exhaust outlets. Stone chips appear on the front, primarily on the
poly bumper cover. A couple of chips are noted on the metal front trunk cover, shown in the gallery
with a coin for perspective. There is a blemish in the paint fore of the right rear wheel, also

The 19″ Carrera S wheels are skinned in 235/35 front and 265/35 rear Continental tires, Y-rated and
dated 2020 and 2021, having travelled under 5,000 km since 2022 installation. One of the rear wheels
shows light curb marking. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and braking is
handled by an ABS system with red Porsche-branded four-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors
measuring 12.5″ and 11.8″ front and rear, respectively.
Inside, there are heated power-adjustable seats covered in Black leather with colour-coordinated
dashboard and carpets. Amenities include a Bose surround sound system, the stock CDR24 AM/FM/CD
stereo, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Typical wear is noted on the climate control
buttons.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is fore of a central 8k-rpm tachometer, with a 190-mph analog
speedometer, supplemented by a digital speedometer available in km/h, with gauges for fuel level and
coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads under 84,000 km. There is a “BRAKE” light illuminated
on the dash. Despite writing the valid safety check, the seller’s mechanic noted that this is for a brake
pad sensor.
The mid-mounted 3.2L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area, factory rated at 280 horsepower
and 236 lb-ft of torque. In preparation for the sale, the car has had significant work done, to the tune of
an over $3,300 repair order as shown on the gallery. The chronometer was found to be drawing current
and has been disconnected. Also given attention were engine oil, front and rear hood struts,
replacement fuses, convertible top links. The mechanic’s inspection worksheet grading each component
checked is included in the gallery as are work orders from the same mechanical shop from regular
maintenance over the years, indicating a well cared for car.
