Sub-26K km 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 25th Anniversary
Here is a 26K km 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 25th Anniversary finished in its original Bright red over Red Custom cloth. With the current owner the last 14 years, it is originally a Canadian market car and spent it previous 19 years in Nova Scotia. A Nova Scotia franchised GM dealer’s bill of sale appears in our gallery and the original selling dealer, also in Halifax, is representing on a key ring for one of the two sets of keys included. It is powered by the GB9 engine, a 5.0 litre V8 with tuned port injection, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission complemented by automatic overdrive. This final year 3rd-generation Z28 is equipped with stock 16″ aluminum wheels, cruise control, a rear aero wing, air conditioning that blows cold, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, as well as power windows, locks, and mirrors. This F-body has rolled an exceptionally low number of kilometres, just over 25,000. It comes with manufacturer’s literature, a reproduced GM build sheet, and a collision-free Carfax report. Ontario buyers, please note: this car will include an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate.
Finished in Bright Red, the GM paint code for the car is 81. Other exterior features include fog lights surrounding the undrilled Chevy emblem portion of the bumper cover intended for a front licence plate; T-Tops, whose covers are made of lighter plexiglass, a rear aero wing, faux hood louvers, power-adjustable side mirrors, and Z28 badges on the body-color side skirts and rear bumper.
Aluminum 16” wheels are stock and a square set-up. Since photos were taken, the owner decided to replace the tires and the car will be outfitted with a set of Kumho Solus TA51a sized 245/55 installed the week of October 20, 2025. It is expected that the tires will have rolled under 100 km by the time the new owner collects the car. We note some patina on the finish of the driver’s side rear wheel. Braking is by power-assisted discs underneath all of the five-spoke alloys. A recent appraisal report is included in our gallery.
The four seats feature CAMARO-embroidered buckets up front, power-adjustable for the driver, and are upholstered in Red Custom cloth (GM Code 73C) and are matched by the door cards, floor mats with GM emblems and carpeting. Features include a Z28 25th Anniversary badging on the dashboard – the first Camaro was a 1967 model, cruise control, air conditioning, a power hatch release with motorized latch, factory ETR AM/FM/cassette with seek/scan for cassette tracks, with power windows, locks, and mirrors. We note cracking in the dash above instrumentation. There is a generous storage compartment under the arm rest while the owner had the rear-view mirror re-adhered at the time of its Ontario safety check appointment (since the Gallery photos were taken).
A leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel with an integrated airbag fronts an instrument cluster with a 180 km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7000 RPM maximum reading and a 5500 RPM red line. There are supplementary gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit analog odometer showed under 25,000 km at the time of our recording the Car Review video opposite “CCC Vital Info”. Approximately 9,500 km were added under current ownership since 2011, including transporting the car to the owner’s home in Ottawa from the selling dealer in Halifax.
The 5.0 litre LB9 V8 was factory rated at 205 horsepower and 285 lb.-ft. of torque, achieved at 4200 and 3200 RPM, respectively. Power from the 305 goes to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission with automatic overdrive. Supplementing the factory documentation in our gallery are several service invoices accumulated during the low km’s driven under current ownership. The oxygen sensor and thermostat were replaced in 2019. Please note that the hood stays have been replaced since the photos were taken and now properly keep the hood in the upright position, this was remedied when the car was Ontario safety-checked. In the hatch, there is a motorized latch, fitted T-Top stowage covers, a lockable glove box-shaped storage area above the driver’s side wheel well and a retractable cargo cover.
This 26K km 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 25th Anniversary is available with factory documentation, re-created GM build sheet, T-tops, collision-free Carfax, and Ontario Safety Standards Certificate from the 14-year owner in Ottawa, Ontario.
