The interior features seating for four and is upholstered in Very Dark Gray leather. Equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A Hurst short-throw shifter is in place, and while the factory 10-speaker Monsoon sound system is retained, a non-original head unit has been installed. Instrumentation includes a 250 km/h speedometer, a 6000 RPM redline tachometer maxing out at 7000 RPM, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and fuel level. The dashboard and door cards present without visible cracking.
Power comes from GM’s 5.7-litre LS1 V8, factory-rated at 320 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque in WS6 configuration. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox and a Torsen II limited-slip differential. The WS6 package also includes suspension upgrades with stiffer springs, thicker sway bars, and revised geometry for improved handling. Additional standard equipment for LS1-powered cars in 1999 included electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, GM’s ASR traction control system, and a 75 litre non-metallic fuel tank.
