2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet 6-Speed Manual
Here is a low-km 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet 6-Speed Manual finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Natural Brown full leather interior – in addition to the seats, door cards, dash, steering wheel rim, shift knob surround, and handbrake lever are all finished in matching Natural Brown leather (option code 981). This all-wheel drive Cabriolet is powered by a 3.6 litre flat six cylinder engine with upgraded IMS bearing while its six-speed manual transaxle sends power to all four wheels, as implied by the “4” in the model name. It is long on equipment including a power black soft top with glass window offering defrost; 18” light alloy Turbo look wheels; Litronic (Bi-Xenon) headlights with washers; speed-activated motorized rear spoiler, also deployable from the cabin; heated power/manual combo front bucket leather seats; factory stereo Porsche CDR-22 head unit with in-dash CD, Becker six-disc changer in front trunk, upgraded Harmann HiFi sound; and automatic climate control. Having been with the owner seven years, this 996.2 Cab has travelled 89,500 km and is offered with a clean Carfax report, service records and two keys in Oakville, Ontario.
The car is finished in Seal Grey Metallic (Paint code L6B4) and has a contrasting black convertible soft top complemented by a removable wind deflector with a dedicated storage bag by Porsche. Fog lights are integrated into the Turbo-look Bi-Xenon headlights equipped in the 996.2 generation of 911, which began production in the 2002 model year. Power adjustable mirrors are heated; the rear spoiler is motorized, speed-activated or by a switch in the driver’s footwell. At the rear are polished exhaust outlets on either side. While small scratches appear on the bumper covers, none are noted on metal surfaces.
Silver-finished light alloys cover cross-drilled discs at all four corners, silver calipers are Porsche-branded and the brakes offer ABS control. The Turbo look 18” wheels are lined in Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 tires showing grippy tread consistent with under 1,000 km of use, a Y-speed rating, and 2025 date codes. The wheels are staggered, with 225/40 and 265/35 tires, front and rear. This 996.2 is equipped with Porsche Stability Management and an Automatic Brake differential, the former controlled by a switch in the centre stack.
Power adjustable front bucket seats are heated while the two individual Draped Leather rear seats fold down to double as a parcel shelf complementing storage in the front trunk. All four are upholstered in Natural Brown leather. The cabin is appointed with many convenience items, notably the factory AM/FM/in-dash CD complemented by the six-disc changer in the front trunk and the Technic package for improved-from-base sound, cruise control, power top, power windows, on-board computer with electronic oil level reading, front replacement fitted floor mats in black (original Natural Brown front mats are included), rear fitted floor mats in Natural Brown, Carrera 4 door sills, and in-door storage. A conventional glove box with original manuals stowed in a leather attaché is located fore of the passenger’s front seat. Certain LCD display features on the head unit are not functioning.
The three-spoke steering wheel in Natural Brown is leather wrapped and fronts a host of gauges, central to which is an 8000 RPM tachometer. Flanking it to the left are a 300 km/h speedometer with analog and digital readouts (the latter of which can be converted to an MPH reading) and a voltmeter while to its right are a combo gauge for fuel level, coolant temperature with digital clock as well as a dedicated oil pressure gauge measured in BAR. The digital odometer displayed below the analog tachometer shows under 89,500 km and whose display is adjustable for the various on-board computer functions. To the right of the driver’s seat where his hand naturally falls is a shift knob for the six-speed manual transaxle covered in leather and aluminum. In addition to switchgear, the centre stack and console offer clever storage compartments, lockable in the console.
In the rear, the 3.6 litre flat-six was factory-rated at 320 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. The car’s IMS bearing was upgraded to a single row by LN Engineering, there is a service record for this upgrade in the gallery. The gallery contains many other service records, notably a replaced clutch in April 2026. The air-oil separator, ignition coils, guibo/flex disc, oil/filter, cabin and engine air filters were also changed at this time. In September 2024, battery and serpentine belt were refreshed while the alternator was rebuilt. Underside photos appear in the gallery, in a condition complementing the clean Carfax. For Ontario owners – the owner expects the car to pass Ontario safety considering the attentive recent service as well as having passed in 2023, a requirement when he changed insurers.
