The wheels are wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact 3 performance tires, sized 235/35ZR19 on the 8” wheels in the front and 295/30ZR19 on the 10” rears, Y-speed rated. We note a date code indication 2008 production for the front tires, which presumably indicates original and a reinforcement of the low km’s on this car, 2017 on the rears. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled discs with Porsche-branded calipers, complemented by Porsche Stability Management (PSM) to assist with control.
Under the rear decklid, the 997.2-spec 3.6-litre direct-injection flat-six engine delivers 345 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. This update is post-intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing concerns. Power is routed through a six-speed manual gearbox. The engine bay is clean and factory-correct. Recent maintenance includes repairs to the convertible roof cable and handle as documented by Porsche Centre North Toronto in October 2023. The most recent oil change was performed with this service, at 43,465 km, under 1,000 km ago – the “Service Now” message shows on start-up, to indicate that this oil service is over a year ago.
