Powering this Carrera is a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six, rated at 415 horsepower when new and equipped with Bosch electronic fuel injection and liquid cooling, making it the first water-cooled 911 Turbo, following the end of the 993’s run. Seller notes that the engine was rebuilt in April 2017 approximately 26,000 km ago – at which time it was fitted with aftermarket pistons and rods. The powerplant has also been modified with an Evolution Motorsports GT700 kit. Work was carried out at a franchised Porsche Canada dealership, at a cost of $35,000 + sales tax and the work order record of this work is shown in the gallery.
