Yes, we have the original Ford radio and it is included with the TBird. Can’t exactly answer your second question but Future Shop installed the new radio and used proper harnesses so switching back to the original stereo should be possible.  

Good morning, we took the car to the mechanic this morning and he confirmed that the wire is actually powering the DRL. He took several photos of the wiring setup, which I have forwarded to CCC to share with you. I am not an expert myself, so I am going strictly by what my trusted mechanics and specialists advise, but hopefully the photos will help clarify everything. 

Thanks for your comment.  To clarify, no spark plug repairs have been done on this car. Because this TBird was imported into Canada from the USA, we understand that to meet the mandatory Canadian requirement of daytime running lights, the wire set up was slightly modified, which also allowed a connection for the upgraded radio. We have the original car radio with the Ford logo and can include it with the sale if the buyer wants. You are welcome to arrange a car viewing through the Contact Seller button.
