Wow. Here is a 19K km 2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Extreme Track 6-speed Manual that is ready for the open road or for the track. The 2019 ZL1 is a limited production car, the 1LE much more so – estimates for Canadian-market cars numbering fewer than 70. Owner advises the original in-service date for this Camaro ZL1 1LE was June 2019 so with just over 18,000 on the clock, there is remaining transferable drivetrain warranty through June 2024 and up to 100,000 km. There is also a corrosion warranty through 6 years/160,000 km and Roadside Assistance matching the Drivetrain Warranty term. Details about this and many other particulars are on the GM document in the gallery. The GM dealer who supplied this document advises that there are no open recalls on this unit. This Camaro ZL1 1LE is being sold with an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate.

For track use, GM included a supplement to the owner’s manual with performance in mind, offering up specific alignment settings among other things. Beyond this, this Camaro ZL1 1LE has seen track time – the original owner and seller is a long-time track-experienced driver; in fact, he is a performance driving instructor, and there is video shot by an on-board camera of the car itself among the videos in this listing – racing fans will recognize the surroundings of the Watkins Glen International in upstate New York. The owner shares stories of many a Porsche unable to keep pace with this Camaro ZL1 1LE on track. The very low production 1LE Extreme Track Performance package was an $8,495 option with a list of upgrades from the conventional ZL1 set out in the gallery.
While these cars are mostly known to have red or black paint, this Camaro ZL1 1LE’s exterior is finished in Riverside Blue metallic, a $495 option that serves to separate it from other Camaro ZL1s. One look at it and it is apparent that this is no run-of-the-mill Camaro, from the 19” low-gloss black forged aluminum wheels with visible red Brembo calipers to the satin black hood wrap with exposed carbon fibre weave insert and the same material on the prodigious rear spoiler, this car screams performance. The splitter also contributes to the car’s aggressive stance and the exterior is from visible flaws. The OEM 19s are a staggered 12” wide in the rear and 11” up front, skinned in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 325/30 and 305/30, respectively. These tires were chosen by the owner for street-use, with grippy remaining tread; for his time on the track, the owner uses replacements of the OEM Eagle F1s on another set of the OEM forged aluminum wheels. (Buyer can choose either of these tire/wheel combos with the car. The other set is available to the new owner, as is the trailer with matching paint photographed in the gallery, as separate items – this can be discussed after the sale.)
Inside, there are creature comforts beyond what one would expect as track basics. The performance data and video recorder mentioned above was optioned at $1495 and makes for both a fun review of performance driving as well as a useful tool for driving instruction and strategy for the advanced track set. On the creature comfort side, there are the amenities of a high-end modern car like dual-zone climate control, power-operated, leather-trimmed with sueded inserts, heated and cooled front seats by Recaro, a heated sueded micro-fibre flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel with matching shift knob and a multi-colour driver information centre. Audio system features an 8” monitor and is Bluetooth, Sirius, OnStar, 4G, Apple Carplay and Android capable, with a USB port. On the performance side, this Camaro ZL1 1LE is equipped with sport alloy pedals, a heads-up display, and push-button start. The seller has supplied the original Chevrolet factory invoice to supplement the GM document, the should be considered the authoritative reference points for all of this Camaro ZL1 1LE’s features. The trunk is clean as new, the bagged Chevrolet car cover (approx. $600 retail) photographed is included with the car. Another is the fire extinguisher mounted in front of the passenger seat.
Performance of this Camaro ZL1 1LE is extreme. Twin measures of 650 confirm this: 650 horsepower at 6400 RPM and 650 lb.-ft. of torque at 3600 RPM are generated by the 6.2 litre supercharged V8 borrowed from the period Corvette Z06. Both the engine bay and undercarriage are near-immaculate. The six-speed manual sends power to the rear wheels. One view of the videos included on this listing confirms the note of a powerful snarl that can propel the ZL1 1LE 0 to 60 in about 3-1/2 seconds. Top speed more than eclipses 300 km/h – the 330 km/h speedometer is not for show – and the 1/4 mile can be had in just over 11 seconds. All of this power is supplemented by the most modern of performance and safety features including traction control and GM’s Stabilitrak® stability control system. Braking is a Brembo performance ABS system, six (F) and four (R) pistons. Radiator has been upgraded to a High Performance unit for 30% more cooling, this and a Roto Fab cold-air intake are the only modifications from stock, original parts are included in the sale. Performance suspension and electronic limited slip differential are part of the package as are several cooling features as on the GM document, the rev matching system precludes heel-and-toe shifting. On the safety side, there are several modern features like lane assist, rear park assist, HD back-up camera and cross-traffic alert, complemented by a host of airbags. Beyond track-dedicated maintenance, the car has had two dealer oil services and no surprises. For Ontario buyers: the car is being sold safetied.
This Camaro ZL1 1LE is available with original window sticker, Chevrolet car cover, fire extinguisher, removed parts, original keys, owner’s manual and High Performance Owner’s Manual Supplement from the original owner in Stoney Creek, On. Non-included items that are optional post-sale are the Sundowner 22 Ultra Trailer and the spare set of OEM wheels wrapped in a replacement set of the OEM tires, Goodyear Eagle F1 (Supercar F3 R). Bill of sale will be written on the letterhead of the franchise dealership where the seller is buying his next performance car, offering the added consumer protections of buying from a dealer.

If you follow these cars then you will know what a great car GM has engineered & built. For less money than a 718 Cayman you can be out in front of the pack on track days. Or you you can enjoy a day of touring the beautiful roads that we have in Ontario.
In 2019 there were only 20 of these that landed in Ontario and 16 more for the rest of Canada. The past 2 years with COVID hurting production, the numbers imported were even less. It’s rumoured that with the high cost of production, the run could be ending soon.
I have truly enjoyed driving this car and as you see the custom trailer and extra wheels are also available for sale. I hope this ZL1 1LE goes to an enthusiast that will pamper and enjoy her as I have.
Please let me know if you have any questions as the Auction enters its last day.
@Cesi006 – thanks for the bids. Keep at ‘er and maybe you’ll be on a track with one again!
Proper track car! Been in one on track, and its as crazy to drive as a McLaren 720s
