Here is a 2001 Mazda MX-5 Miata LS Convertible finished in Emerald Mica over a Tan interior with an interior matching tan soft top and the less common 3-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The tan interior was offered only on the higher LS trim, all base cars for the model year came with black interior. The 2001 model year is notable not only for being a second-generation NB car, with the disappearance of the pop-up headlights of the NA cars in the interest of safety but the 2001s are known as an NB2 with the bump up in power attributable to variable valve timing employed by Mazda. In the cabin, the tan leather seats are manually adjustable and perforated for ventilation. Door cards and carpets are a matching tan while the Nardi three-spoke steering wheel, dash cover and centre stack are in a contrasting black. Power windows are controlled from the console and there is an upgraded double-DIN head unit with Bluetooth functionality as well as USB and auxiliary inputs. Sound is by BOSE and the door-mounted speakers show this audio leader’s emblem. There The original head unit is included in the sale. Cruise control is managed by a stalk on the steering column, air conditioning in the centre stack and remote trunk and remote fuel releases inside a console storage compartment, one of three including an unused ashtray.

The peak horsepower is achieved at 7000 RPM while max. torque of 125 lb.-ft is realized at 5000 RPM. The juice is sent to the rear wheels via the three-speed automatic with overdrive and through a Torsen limited-slip differential. Most recent maintenance are a battery and oil service.
