This 37K km 2008 Porsche Cayman S 6-Speed Manual is a US-market car, first registered in Wisconsin where the seller purchased it.  It was imported to Canada in 2011, where approximately 14k of the 23k indicated miles have been driven. It is finished in Guards Red over black leather and is powered by a 295 horsepower 3.4-liter flat-six, twinned with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, original 19″ period 997 Turbo wheels, heated sport seats, a rear spoiler which deploys at speed or by driver input, bi-xenon headlights, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Kenwood double DIN touchscreen head unit offering Bluetooth capability. This 987.1 Cayman S is now offered in Canada with the owner’s manual, an October 2012 service record and a clean Carfax report.

The car remains finished in its original Guards Red and features bi-xenon headlights, a rear wiper, fog lights, quarter-panel intakes, a speed-dependent rear spoiler, dual chrome-finished exhaust outlets, rain-sensing wipers, and auto-dimming mirrors. The original 19″ staggered 911 Turbo wheels are skinned in Michelin Pilot Sport N2-labelled tires measuring 235/35 fore of the cabin and 265/35 aft. Owner reports that front tires were installed in 2017 at 32,390 km, with the rears were installed June 2023, with near zero km accumulated.  The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) while braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers combining with cross-drilled rotors measuring 12.5″, front, and 11.8″ rear.

GT3-style heated sport seats highlight the cabin, upholstered in black leather matching the dashboard and carpets. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central 8000 RPM tachometer with 7300 RPM red line, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. There is also a digital display for the speedometer, km/h and MPH readings can be alternated with the flick of a switch.  The digital odometer indicates 23k miles, approximately 14k of which were added under current ownership, and converting to approximately 37,000 km.

The mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory-rated at 295 horsepower, achieved at 6250 RPM, and 251 lb-ft of torque, (4400 RPM). The oil was most recently changed at 36,866 km with the most recent battery replacement reported as July 2020.  Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle.
