45K km 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet 6-Speed Manual

We have available a 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a full red leather interior. This rear drive cabriolet is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and remains unmodified from factory specification, including its original five-double spoke alloy wheels and Porsche sound system. This 911 shows just under 45,000 km and is offered by the seller in Thornhill, Ontario, with a clean Ontario registration, original manuals, and recent service history. The clean Canadian Carfax is in its normal place on our listings, “CCC Vital Info”, we also have photos of a USA Carfax in the gallery.

Exterior styling features the signature flowing lines of the 997 generation of 911 updated as 997.2 with this 2009 model year. Revised front and rear fascias incorporating LED daytime running lights and updated taillamps are on display. Bi-Xenon headlights are equipped, with headlight leveling, washers, welcome home functions.  The Arctic Silver Metallic paint presents very well, with a small chip on the driver’s-side fender and the only imperfection noted on the metal surfaces, viewable in the gallery. The black canvas power-operated soft top remains in good condition and is fitted with a heated glass rear window showing Splintex branding, every other pane exhibiting the Saint Gobain SEKURIT name. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in a striking full red leather package covering the seats, dash, console, and door panels, steering wheel and handbrake grip – the full leather an opulent upgrade beyond seat coverings only. The heated front bucket seats offer power adjustment and lumbar support. Standard equipment includes Porsche Communication Management with navigation and trip computer, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum shift knob, and cruise control. Colour-matched Porsche-branded mats are in place to protect the carpet under-foot.

Porsche’s signature five-gauge layout features a centrally installed tachometer and digital displays for odometer and auxiliary functions, all shown functioning in the gallery. The factory head unit and audio system remain in place.  A US market car coming from Florida in 2014, the analog speedometer is in MPH only, maxing out at 200, the digital speedometer and odometer can be toggled back and forth between miles and km, with an odometer reading of under 28,000 miles appearing in the gallery to confirm the sub-45,000 reading is in kilometres.

This 911 Cabriolet rides on its stock 19-inch Porsche OEM five-double spoke alloy wheels with coloured centres, a hallmark design also featured on contemporary S models. The wheels are wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact 3 performance tires, sized 235/35ZR19 on the 8” wheels in the front and 295/30ZR19 on the 10” rears, Y-speed rated.  We note a date code indication 2008 production for the front tires, which presumably indicates original and a reinforcement of the low km’s on this car, 2017 on the rears.  Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled discs with Porsche-branded calipers, complemented by Porsche Stability Management (PSM) to assist with control.

Under the rear decklid, the 997.2-spec 3.6-litre direct-injection flat-six engine delivers 345 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. This update is post-intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing concerns.  Power is routed through a six-speed manual gearbox. The engine bay is clean and factory-correct.  Recent maintenance includes repairs to the convertible roof cable and handle as documented by Porsche Centre North Toronto in October 2023.  The most recent oil change was performed with this service, at 43,465 km, under 1,000 km ago – the “Service Now” message shows on start-up, to indicate that this oil service is over a year ago.  A battery maintainer is also included in the frunk, with accompanying wiring neatly installed.  For Ontario buyers – the seller is willing to furnish the vehicle to its new owner with a valid Ontario Safety Standards Certificate.
