Here is a low-mileage 1997 GMC Yukon GT 4WD two-door on offer. It remains true to its original form, with a few practical and tasteful modifications detailed further on in the listing. Making this truck unique beyond the low 68,000 km are the dark cherry paint, the GT trim and the two-door body style. The two-door models were produced from 1991-2000, though two-door production is dwarfed by the four-door models. The truck comes with the owner’s manual and a clean Carfax, the latter included in the gallery. The original dark cherry paint retains a nice shine, suggestive of the truck being garage-kept. The bush bar is a factory-installed piece and the original wheels have been swapped for a Cadillac Escalade OEM chrome-finished set. White-lettered Michelin LTX A/T tires measure 265/75R16, are comfortable on-road or off and show good tread after a reported two years of service and 16,000 km. GT trim includes the OEM bush bar and running boards as well as a decal kit to set it apart from other Yukons. Aftermarket adds include an updated grille treatment, vent shades as well as the visible chromed exhaust pipes. Dual action liftgate is convenient. Glass opens upward and can do so without the pick-up truck-type tailgate opening, the latter is hinged at its base.

Interior is tan – leather seats and well-appointed otherwise, given the GT trim with colour-matched console, dash and door cards. The truck is well-optioned with power windows, locks, seats, cruise control, leather steering wheel and air conditioning. The original GM Delco head unit is in place, though it is supplemented by an aftermarket subwoofer, discreetly installed. The original factory full-sized spare is housed in the hatch under its original carpeted covering.

This truck is equipped with a 5.7 litre V8 engine which was rated at 255 horsepower (4600 RPM) when new, with torque at 330 lb.-ft. (2800 RPM) to make towing with the factory tow package a breeze. The four-wheel drive system is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, transfer case offers high and low . Factory equipment includes air ride and traction control. The truck was upgraded with a chrome exhaust system in 2020 and treated to a May oil change in preparation for the sale. Other maintenance during this two-year period includes new battery terminals and a new alternator, alignment was checked in December2021. Seller has included photos of the undercoated underside, which show a nice condition undercarriage with only minor surface rust. Seller has service records for the noted work, performed during his ownership tenure.
