8100 km 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt #846 6-Speed Manual – Inspected

Here is a low km 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt 6-Speed Manual, all 2020 Bullitts are numbered cars, this one of a mere 447 for the Canadian market.  A numbered car, it is number 854 for 2020 worldwide Bullitt production.  Although some were produced in Shadow Black, this car is Dark Highland Green and thus consistent with the original inspiration for the Bullitt cars, the 1968 film that is its namesake.  It is powered by a 5.0 litre Coyote V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and the Highland is presented over an Ebony interior.  This Bullitt is equipped with the 500 A Equipment Group which consists of the Magne Ride Damping system and Bullitt Electronics package.  The original factory sticker is included in the gallery.  Please note that this seller opted for our third-party mobile pre-purchase inspection – see the results here as well as in the gallery – and, Ontario buyers take note:  this car is being sold with an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate.  All of this is supplemented by a clean Carfax.

Other included features are the 19-inch Heritage wheels, limited slip differential, performance exhaust.  Brembo front calipers, LED lights, parking sensors, dual zone climate control and heated/cooled front bucket seats are also equipped.  The seller has had the service performed on this Bullitt by Marigold Ford in Whitby, On – as set out on the clean Carfax.  It will go to its new owner with fewer than 8,100 km.

The 2020 S550 Bullitt does not wear Mustang logos, conspicuous by its absence is such an emblem in the grille. The Bullitt logo appears on the exterior only on the rear panel. This Dark Highland Green example is also differentiated from the conventional Mustang GT in that its engine is tuned differently and combines with the GT350 air box for more horsepower, a factory-rated 480 in the Bullitt. Specific to the Bullitt exterior are the exhaust tips, the Heritage wheels, rear valance and rear spoiler deletion. Pony puddle lamps are also equipped, along with rear parking sensors; heated, power-operated mirrors; and sequential rear indicators. There are two small chips up front, one on the hood and one above the windshield. (We had a hard time finding them when shooting the Car Review video but there are photos on the inspector’s report.) The seller is including a correct colour touch-up kit.

Heritage wheels in black with polished lips wear the original Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, Y-rated.  Up front, they measure 255/40R19 and in the rear 275/40R19.  There is a four-wheel independent suspension and this Bullitt is optioned with the Magne-Ride damping system.  The front Brembo brake calipers operate with six pistons and an electronic line lock was fitted at the factory.  The car comes with a custom Bullitt car cover.

The Ebony interior features leather seating surfaces specific to the Bullitt, the power-operated front buckets offer heat and ventilation.  There is green contrasting stitching throughout.  Aluminum trim accents the interior and the dash is branded as number 854 among 2020 Bullitts.  Sound is by Bang & Olufsen, with 12 speakers while Ford Sync infotainment and voice-activated navigation are also components of the head unit’s offerings.  The rear bench has split folding seat backs and the automatic climate control offers dual zone function.  A cue ball shift knob is in place to control the six-speed manual

Instrumentation is LED with varying displays.  The conventional display shows a speedometer with a high reading of 300 km/h and an 8,000 RPM tachometer with a red line of 7,500, the odometer shows under 8,100 km.  Display is controlled by buttons on the multi-function three-spoke steering wheel with the Bullitt insignia at its hub while the centre stack shows gauges for oil pressure and vacuum.  Cruise control and infotainment are also programmable by steering wheel buttons.  The circumference of the steering wheel is heated and wrapped in leather.

Under the hood is a 5.0 litre Coyote engine rated at 480 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque from the factory.  The engine compartment was outfitted at the factory with a Bullitt-branded stabilizing brace spanning the two shock towers.  Power is routed to the rear wheels via the six-speed manual, with limited slip differential control, and the engine exhales via the performance dual exhaust system.  The car’s most recent oil service was July 2024, under 200 km ago.  A fuel sensor was replaced at that time while an inspection and a four-wheel alignment were performed.

The window sticker in the gallery shows an MSRP of over $60,000 with equipped options and a delivery from the factory to Donway Ford of Scarborough, Ontario.  This 8100 km 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt 6-Speed Manual is available with two keys, clean Carfax, Ontario Safety Standards Certificate and car cover from the original owner in Whitby, Ontario.

From the seller here. I just wanted to thank the bidders for the interest and also just to clarify the fact that this car has never seen snow or brine. It has rarely even seen rain.
The original tires have excellent tread depth remaining, i.e. no burn-outs. I would never torture one of my cars like that.
A bit of background: I’ve owned 11 manual transmission cars, dating back to the late 70’s (5 have been Mustangs) and I’ve never had to replace a clutch in any of them.
On why I’m selling this car: I purchased it to commute to work, my feeling being that if you have to commute, you may as well enjoy it. But then covid came along and I decided to retire early. Since the car isn’t getting the use intended and I’m still maintaining/insuring it, I’m reluctantly selling. It is the most sophisticated, comfortable and all round capable car I’ve owned; not to mention, having the best exhaust note and that includes the ’67 289 and ’16 GT350!
They’re not making Bullitts any more. Get one of the best while you can. Thanks.
