No Reserve 1997 Ford Mustang GT 5-Speed Manual Convertible

Presented here is a 1997 Ford Mustang GT 5-Speed Manual Convertible, finished in Deep Forest Green over tan cloth upholstery, being offered at No Reserve under CCC’s White Glove Program. Power comes from a 4.6-litre SOHC V8 factory-rated at 215 horsepower and 290 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The odometer displays below 198,000 km. Acquired by its owner in 2023 who reports mostly top-down use, this Canadian-market Mustang is now offered with service records, an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate and a Carfax report, and is located in Toronto, Ontario.

The body is finished in its factory colour of Deep Forest Green, and was repainted under prior ownership – retaining the original shade. This GT features a power-operated black convertible soft top, GT-specific bumper covers, integrated rear spoiler, dual polished exhaust outlets, and factory badging. Exterior equipment includes dual power-operated side mirrors, halogen headlights, and a power antenna. Gallery images show clear lenses and factory glass with markings. Factory fog-light wiring is in place, though the lamps are not installed, and the driver-side power door lock occasionally requires more than one press to engage.

The stock 17-inch five-spoke Mustang alloy wheels are mounted with Zeta ZTR10 ultra-high-performance summer tires sized 245/45ZR17 99W. All four show the same size and speed rating, with two tires installed under prior ownership and the other two fitted in September 2025. Date codes on the older pair are from 2021, while the newer pair was installed in September 2025. Braking is power-assisted with a disc ABS systems all around. The factory-specified MacPherson strut front suspension and four-link solid rear axle remain in place.

The cabin is trimmed in tan upholstery with matching door panels and carpeting, complemented by a black with tan dashboard and centre console. Features include a six-way power driver’s seat, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, and a factory AM/FM cassette stereo, with separate component CD player. Air conditioning was installed at the factory though it has not been tested. Gallery photos highlight generally well-preserved trim, though as a top-down cruiser some appears sunbleached. Instrumentation includes a 240-km/h speedometer, 7,000 RPM tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The odometer displays under 198,000 km.

This GT is powered by a 4.6-litre single-overhead-cam V8 with electronic fuel injection. Service during current ownership includes , a fuel-tank reseal, ball joints, oxygen sensor, tune-up, thermostat, cruise control and replacement of the intake manifold with a Ford OEM unitin addition to regular oil servicing; seller even has fuel refilling receipts on hand. Aftermarket sequential taillights have been removed to return the car to factory specification. Engine-compartment photographs confirm stock air-intake and factory exhaust manifolds, and no performance modifications are reported.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a factory-specified limited-slip differential with 3.27:1 gearing. Extensive underside photos are included in the gallery. The owner has retained fuel receipts during his ownership.
