Equipment includes 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, a limited-slip differential, a power sunroof, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and a stock Becker Grand Prix cassette stereo.  This is a US-market car and it currently shows under 110K miles, though the odometer has been serviced in the past and it is thus being sold TMU – true mileage unknown.  It has been in Canada since 1991.

This Mercedes features headlight wipers, fog lights, a power sunroof, a power antenna, and polished aluminum trim.  The seller advises that the surfaces of the hood and trunk lid have been repainted under current ownership after addressing surface rust.  Care was taken to retain the VIN-specific labels on these components.  The rear spoiler remains in place.

The 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels house 205/65 Bridgestone Ecopia tires, the stock size. The car was factory equipped with a self-leveling rear suspension and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes complemented by an ABS system and driver’s air bag, replaced in June 1997 according to a Mercedes-Benz service decal found in the glove box.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Palomino leather along with a colour-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpet.  Occupants are treated to heated power-adjustable front seats, rear headrests, automatic climate control, and a Becker AM/FM cassette stereo. Cruise control is equipped.  We note that the passenger’s side vanity mirror and light assembly is removed and will be in the glove box on delivery to the new owner.  As pictured as well, the trunk lid needs a prop rod to remain in the open position.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts instrumentation by VDO with a 170-mph speedometer, a 7000 RPM tachometer with a 6000 RPM redline, an analog clock, and gauges for instant fuel economy, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows under  110,000 miles.  The analog clock is inoperative.  The power antenna functions though it does not rise to its full height – please see our video that demonstrates this.

In addition to the paint work on the hood and trunk lid, the owner has also seen to repairs of the climate control system – air conditioning is said to blow cool.  The car was also outfitted with new tires, new fog lights (AFTER photos taken) and an oil change.  All work in the past 1,000 miles.  Underside photos are included in the gallery.
