31K km 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible 6-Speed Manual SOLD for $35,000 + Buyer Premium

This is a low-mileage 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible 6-Speed Manual.  Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in Ruby Red and equipped with a black soft top, heated and cooled sport seats, automatic climate control, a 12-speaker Shaker sound system, and SYNC 3 infotainment.  The GT has been with the current owner for only a short time.  He purchased it directly from a fellow Mustang club member, the original owner, and very soon after, illness struck to preclude him from enjoying it.  The sale is being handled by another member of the same Mustang club.  It is now available with under 31,000 km on the clock and, Ontario buyers take note, comes with an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate and a clean Carfax report showing history in Ontario.

This Mustang GT Premium Convertible is finished in Ruby Red (Ford paint code RR).  Features include a black soft top, a rearview camera and a dual-exit active exhaust system.  It has been subtly modified with Borla exhaust and custom striping both on the hood as well as side.  There are also a set of upgraded hood struts in place.  Original owner is a Mustang enthusiast, with the car showing both a decal from his club on the windshield as well as a “RMR” – for Red Mustang Registry – an understated decal appears on the front spoiler.

The Premium Convertible rides on a five-double-spoke set of OEM Ford wheels, which show no marks.  The Michelin Pilot Sport tires have travelled approximately 4,500 km since installation in April of 2022 and measure 235/50R18 all the way around.   The Pilots are Y-speed rated with a load rating of 101.  Braking is handled by an ABS system with discs at all four corners.  Exterior mirrors are equipped with downward-facing light projectors that show the Mustang logo on the ground when the locks are engaged remotely.

The power-adjustable front sport seats feature power, heating and cooling function.  They are upholstered in black leather with contrasting white stitching with a lumbar adjustment for the driver and a matching bench for two rear passengers.  Inside, the car offers more convenience and features in the form of climate control with multi-zone control, keyless entry/start, power group, remote start, auxiliary input for infotainment, voice-activated Sync and steering wheel audio controls.  There is a trunk-mounted subwoofer to support the sound system, a backup camera, TPMS and adaptive cruise control in place.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 260-km/h speedometer, an 8000 RPM tachometer with redline at 7000 RPM, a multifunction display adjustable by steering wheel controls and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.  The centre stack houses a large adjustable display with audio controls, HVAC controls, push-button start, nostalgic chrome-look switches and USB input. The digital odometer indicates under 31,000 km.

Powertrain is a Coyote 5.0 litre V8 capable of 435 horsepower out of the factory at 6500 RPM, torque was rated at 400 lb.-ft. at 4250 RPM.  A six-speed manual transmission with launch control gets this power to the rear wheels.  This combo gets the Premium Convertible from 0-60 in a hurry, in under 5 seconds.  The Mustang has been very well maintained, including the fresh Michelins having replaced the stock tires due to age.  Service records are on hand, are detailed on the clean Carfax, will come with the car and indicate regular oil changes, a replacement battery as well as recommended factory service.
