2021 09 14 CCC Featured External Listing 2004 Maserati Cambio Corsa Coupe

This Italian is known for its common heritage with compatriot Ferrari.  While not as famous as the product originating in Maranello, Maserati did like to link the engine of this Cambio to its co-development with the brand with the Prancing Horse.  The F136 was indeed employed in several Ferraris in various forms: Ferrari F430, Ferrari California and Ferrari 458.

This Maserati coupe has the 4.2 litre variant, F136R, rated at 385 horsepower.  Torque checks in at 333 lb.-ft.  The front engine is paired with rear drive for the common Italian FR layout.  While the model was also produced with a conventional manual transmission, this example uses the F1-style transmission to get the power to the wheels.  It is an automated manual with hydraulic operation and electronic management.  It features paddles beyond the steering wheel and offers four modes:  Normal, Sport, Auto and Low Grip.  Seller mentions his preferred shop for service but the only service mentioned is a new clutch and transmission service last year.

This car is silver in colour.  It is outfitted with the seven-spoke wheels which were an option in 2004 but were popular enough to become standard equipment by ’05. Cross-drilled rotors are visible in between the spokes.  Other interesting exterior features include the headlight covers; wide and low grille; high gas door with Maserati logo; and twin dual exhaust pipes with polished tips.

Inside the car is finished in leather as one would expect, black in colour.  The three-spoke steering wheel is a sporting touch and the Maserati logos on seat headrests offer a reminder of the prestige of this car.  The analog clock looks distinguished, placed on the dash above the infotainment head unit.

The car’s instrumentation features a speedometer where MPH is dominant, leading us to believe that this is a US-market car and that the odometer reading at 63,000 is miles.  There is no content to set this out in the ad so definitely a topic for the seller for anyone inquiring.  Seller mentions that the car has seen summer use only.
