The 2.7 litre M110 is an inline six cylinder and the largest displacement gas engine installed the W123 during its 11-year run from 1976 to 1986. (There was a 3.0 litre diesel.) The M110 was good for 174 horsepower when new. The engine is powered by BOSCH K-Jetronic fuel injection, a mechanical system. There is a four-speed automatic transmission to send the power to the rear wheels.

This is a US-market car. So, the dominant speedometer readings are in miles per hour, despite this being the first model year that Transport Canada standardized dominant km/h readings. Adjacent to the speedometer are an analog clock to one side and a three-gauge cluster on the other: readings for fuel, oil pressure and temperature appear. The odometer of this W123 reads 169,000 miles.

Seller mentions a recent tune-up and new brakes at all four corners. He also mentions that the car is entirely rust-free. The car appears mostly stock, with the classic-look Bundt wheels, though we do notice chrome-look fender treatments.
