Founder Dave has some business in Miami this week and made a point yesterday of taking to the streets of South Beach to take in the metal on display as our collector cars hibernate for the Canadian winter. Today, we present a good cross-section from a three-wheeler to – ho-hum – three Rolls Royces spotted in about eight minutes. Note that one sports a California plate; now, that is road-trippin’ in style. Speaking of road-trippin’, the California plate on the Tesla Model Y caught our eye, with the thought of planning charges for the ~3000-mile journey. We had to zoom int but did notice the California plate in this case was a Manufacturer plate, leading us to conclude that signicant diesel was burned to get this electric machine cross-country.
Other notes on today’s gallery:
1. The Packard is a promotional car, deployed to draw attention to a restaurant;
2. The BMW E30’s rear plate is Florida-issued; and
3. Does anyone know the most likely occupation of Toronto Urus drivers? Please answer in the “Comments” section.
We kinda figure Founder Dave will send back photos of more cars of the Rich and Famous of Miami Beach so watch here and on Instagram.

@vintageracer – we wondered the same. Seeing the traffic in the neighbo(u)rhood, we assure that whatever the odometer reading, the miles have accumulated… slowly.
I wonder how many miles (KM) are on that taxi. It must be at least 10 years old, as I think the Crown Vics were discontinued in 2012.
