O MOPAR!
2022 08 21 posting – “Moparfest”, held today and yesterday
As publicized in Saturday’s post, we were off to Moparfestin New Hamburg, On yesterday morning. They come from near, they come from far, all fans of the Pentastar. OK, there is no poet on staff but this is a major show and a good Canadian answer to the annual Woodward Avenue Cruise in Detroit, held yesterday. We would estimate over 1,000 cars and all types in the Chrysler lineage turn up – we saw DeSoto, Nash and AMC in addition to Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Ram and Jeep. Here are a few of what we saw but this does not give a sense of how big this event is. After parking the CCC vehicle off-site, it was on to a school bus to get to the grounds! Thank you, Moparfest. (To our frequent site visitors – you may recognize the Caravelle from Friday’s post and Burlington. Sure enough, it hit up Moparfest.)

Always loving any 2 seater AMX, but this time I’m torn between the ’65 Barracuda and the ’65ish Plymouth Belvedere.
Noting the layout of the two air cleaners on the Belvedere would indicate it is probably a 413 Max Wedge engine. That makes it the tie breaker. I’m going with the Belvedere. 🙂
