2023 02 24 posting – 2023 Canadian International AutoShow, Toronto, Canada

This week, we dropped in on the 2023 Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto.  This marks the first such show after a few years off for what we have all been through.  Though not our normal bread and butter, we today bring you a selection of new vehicles we saw, and we stuck to cars.  (Good thing Buick brought a concept car, considering it currently markets SUVs only.)  The more interesting collector cars and exotics will come in a future post.  You probably heard the media reports – that there were fewer manufacturers exhibiting than in past years.  As evidenced by today’s gallery, of the Detroit Three, we saw GM and Chrysler only; Asia was rep’d by Toyota (as well as Lexus), Nissan, Hyundai, Kia and Subaru; and there was little European content – the Alfa Romeo below was part of parent Chrysler’s offering.  In addition to the displays, there was an EV test track.  EVs are also not our usual domain so we skipped them.  However, to stay current and on-trend, we tried out a Tesla over the long weekend so watch for our review of that in an update in the near future.  Enjoy the AutoShow gallery of new cars and please let us know what you think in the Comments section!
