Exterior is understated in Meteor grey metallic, on an equally understated black leather interior.  Wheels have been upgraded to a 19” set of HRE Performance wheels, a pricey upgrade on an originally-pricey car.  They wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires with 2016 date codes.  Up front, the car is rolling on 235/35R19 tires while out back they are 295/30R19, all Y-speed rated.  The car was originally fitted with run-flat tires, though the current owner has opted for a conventional tire in the interest of ride quality.  The compressor system to seal run-flats is pictured in the photo gallery with other front trunk appointments.  This is also where the C4S’s battery is located, this car is running a BOSCH example.  There is a Carfax report in the photo gallery and it reports no accidents and a history in Ontario.  It also sets out how the seller’s repair shop has serviced this C4S for some years.

The Meteor Grey exterior features a powered rear spoiler which is speed-activated.  There is also a button on the dash which enables the driver to raise and lower the spoiler from the driver’s seat.  The HREs suit the car beautifully and are a nice pick-up for the next owner.  Light lenses and glass are excellent – unchipped, uncracked and they possess nice clarity.  Glass is all labeled Sekurit, the OEM supplier.  There is a mark on the front trunk, shown with a quarter in the photo gallery for perspective.  Chromed dual exhaust tips on both sides add to the sporty look, the sound of the Sport Exhaust further contributes.

This C4S is very well-optioned.  Option sheet is included below and in the gallery.  Inside, there are heated front seats, Sport Chrono Package, Carbon package (see handbrake and shift knob photos) and Bose High End sound.  Full leather is also in place, as opposed to partial leather (where door skins and dash are vinyl) with the Porsche crest embossed on headrests and steering wheel leather is thicker than standard.  The sport exhaust is a treat to the senses.  Engine bay photos show off the cleanliness of the 3.8 litre and its surroundings.  Out of the factory, the flat-six supplied 355 horsepower.  All decals adhered at the factory remain intact

Inside, the car is very well equipped.  Keen observers will note a white cable which may look out of place.  It is a lightning cable, the connection to charge the current iPhone.  Leather seating and steering wheel surfaces have been well cared for as they look and feel almost new.  They also supply the unmistakably Porsche scent of the interior.  Headliner is in rich Alcantara.  Shift knob and emergency brake handle are appointed in carbon fibre.  Vehicle information and option codes are set out on the Porsche data sheet below.

The head unit display screen features a colour Porsche logo when powered up, this can be seen in the gallery – a modern unit for the 2007 model year.  Door sills, featuring Carrera 4S badging, and door cards have been well cared for but perhaps the best indication of care are the soft-touch buttons controlling the radio and HVAC system.  Nice to the touch but these are worn out on many period 997s – fortunately, not the case on this example, all present very well/as near new.  The chrono package featured on this car, with clock conspicuously place mid-dash, gives it a sportier feel.  Vehicle information, factory history and option codes are set out on the Porsche data sheet below.

Seller’s shop has been charged with the upkeep of this C4S for some years.  Recent servicing going back to Summer 2020 has included new drive belts, new spark plugs, a new window regulator, new air filter, new cabin air filter, oil service, replacement of the coolant reservoir and exhaust repairs.  This is an incomplete list, for elaboration please review the Carfax.

This C4S is available in Toronto East and can be viewed by appointment, use the “Contact Seller” button at the base of the “CCC Vital Info” information box.

Hi this is the seller, this car was not traded to a dealer due to damage. Technically, the car was traded in to a dealer so that the original owner could get credit against sales taxes for a trade. It was pre-arranged that I would buy the car from the dealer, Downtown Porsche (toronto). No ticking, smoke or engine noises. I am going to try to shoot a video of cold start and engine running, further to what @aarmanr is asking. I would estimate that I have driven the car 20,000 km because the original owner would leave it at my shop if there was a period where he would not drive it. Please note – the original rims are included with the car (no rubber).

Would also appreciate videos – cold start, idle, running with engine bay shots. Maintenance logs of previous work done under warranty at Porsche would also be nice to have.

Can you confirm there are no engine noises, no ticks or smoking? Rumours are this car was traded in to another Dealer with bore scoring and a damaged engine.
