At Collector Car Canada, a major part of our outreach to the market is through the grassroots:  involvement in car clubs, attending cruise nights, hosting Cars n’ Coffee events and manning booths at annual shows – to name a few.  The stars aligned this past weekend when a club with which we are involved was invited to see the Plunkett Private Collection, near London, Ontario.  The collection’s focus is Cadillac, though it contains other General Motors makes:  Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile (now-defunct) and Pontiac (now-defunct).  The grand majority of cars in the collection is housed in three buildings.  Today, we share what we saw in the most ornate building, known as the Fleetwood Auto Salon.  Consistent with the name and the edifice’s decor, in this building are housed the earliest of the cars – mostly Cadillac but also an Auburn replica and a Buick (not pictured).  Click here for further information on the collection; we can’t encourage you enough to do this – each of these special cars deserves more attention than space limitations here allow us.  We should also mention that the management of the collection does a lot of good with it:  dollars into seven figures been raised for charity over the years with the collection as the magnet.  Thank you, Plunkett Private Collection!
