2024 06 17 post Best of Strokers Club 70th Anniversary and Yorkville Exotic Shows, held June 15 and 16, 2024

Those following our mailers through the weekend would know we planned to show a car at each of two big shows:  the Strokers Club of Galt, On 70th Anniversary Celebration show Saturday and Yorkville Exotic Car Show Sunday.  Both were wonderful, for us:  city meets country.  From the photos we feature here today, it’s easy to tell which was which from the surroundings but the cars were almost interchangeable.  Also interchangeable was the great atmosphere at both – what one would expect from the country with an excellent barbecue dinner and birthday cake, but same went for the show in the city:  everyone appreciating the cars and the sunshine – appropriately, given that the beneficiary charity for the Yorkville show is Melanoma Canada.  We’ll do at least a page for each event when we get through the oodles of photos we took but here is a “best of” compilation.  Thank you to those at both who saw our sign on the cars we showed and said hello; as well, a big thank you to all organizers – especially at the Strokers, a grassroots effort we really appreciated.
