We visited the Nation’s Capital earlier in the weekend and were happy to have the chance to visit a weekly cruise night.  Sure, it was early in the season but the evening was a beauty and there were many fabulous cars in attendance.  Like usual, we loved them all but a couple that stood out were the 1960 Buick Electra convertible, the 1963 Chrysler 300G with swivel seats and the 1973 Datsun 240Z with its straight-six bored out to 2.8L.  Further honourable mentions to the ’70 Dart Swinger and ’68 Camaro restored and driven by the daughter of the original owner, who still rides shotgun occasionally.

Ottawa has a great car scene with cruise nights in different parts of the region almost every evening.  As well as the cars, the people were great, too.  Here’s to a great summer of cruise nights!
