2023 05 29 posting – CCC Cars n’ Coffee Event – in Partnership with PCA UCR, held May 27, 2023

Wow, what fun we had!  In partnership with Porsche Club of America Upper Canada Region (PCA UCR), we held a Cars n’ Coffee event yesterday at Hagerty Garage & Social in Burlington, On.  Have a look at our photos and you can tell that this event was a grand success.  We didn’t limit attendance to Porsches but they made up the majority of the cars on hand.  (Look closely and you’ll see a 2023 Corvette Z06, the first we have seen in Canada with licence plates.  Corvette folk will know that the C8 was released to great fanfare for the 2020 model year, 2023 is the first for the Z06.  We also Corvettes, too, and have a couple coming to CCC auction soon.  Look even more closely and you just might see a Porsche coming soon to CCC auction.)

The highlight of the cars in attendance had to be the Porsche Carrera GT.  It is a R/R V10 Targa produced in the 2005 and 2006 model years.  It is so fast that it is considered dangerous and is the car in which Fast n’ Furious star Paul Walker met his demise.  Interestingly, of the 150 or so Porsches on hand, none was a four-door – these make up the majority of the new cars sold by the manufacturer today.
