2023 07 15 posting – Downtown Burlington Car Show, held July 8, 2023

On Saturday, July 8, the annual Downtown Burlington Car Show was held by the Rebels Classic Car and Hot Rod Club.  We chose a Saturday for today’s post as it was one week ago today, we also wanted this post to be our first with our web site’s new look.  We have since had a post-mortem with the organizers to learn that over 40,000 people wandered through a closed Brant Street to see the hundreds of curated cars.  And what a collection of cars it was – one look at our album and you can see the eras spanned from the ’20s to the ’20s, as in 1920s to 2020s, you will also notice the crowds!  The members of the current management team of the Show were in their first year and they #nailedit.  Charity is now one of the primary focuses, ROCK being one of the preferred charities of the Rebels, other beneficiaries of the Show were Halton Food for Thought and Halton Women’s Place.  Congrats to Steve and the Rebels for throwing a wonderful event, thank you to all volunteers, we enjoyed it!
