The car is finished in a shade of green called Royal Jade by Lexus and features a power sunroof, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets and a factory color-matched rear spoiler with integrated third brake light. The car has seen fair weather duty only and has been otherwise garaged while under the care of the current owner.
Factory 16-inch alloy wheels wear V-Rated Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTV all-season tires measuring 225/55, the stock size as set out on decal in a glove box. Tire treads are photographed in the gallery. The Lexus traction control system, TRAC, is fitted while braking is by four-wheel discs in an ABS system.
The power-adjustable and heated front seats with driver’s side memory settings are upholstered in grey leather matched by the dashboard, centre console, and carpets protected by Lexus-branded floor mats. The striped floor mats appearing in the gallery are Coco mats, well-known to collectors. This set is all-weather and has always been used under current ownership to protect the matching Lexus mats. Inside the console is found the original Lexus mobile phone (not connected) and its antenna remains on the rear glass, an interesting period piece attesting to the originality of this car. The dashboard is complemented by wood trim as are door cards while other amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a factory Nakamichi sound system with a trunk-mounted CD changer.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a tachometer, a 260 km/h speedometer and gauges monitoring fuel level as well as coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows under 44,000 km, approximately 7,000 km of which were added by the seller since his purchase from Kelowna Lexus. His bill of sale from the dealership is included in the gallery as is the optional tire/wheel warranty.
The 4.0-litre 1UZ-FE V8 features dual overhead camshafts and was factory-rated at 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Soon after the seller purchased the car in 2021, it was treated to an exhaustive basket of work performed by Erin Park Lexus in Mississauga. It reads like a “just take care of EVERYTHING, please” work order: antenna motor (antenna operation is demonstrated in the videos), foggy headlight, trunk lid stays, glove box trim, comprehensive inspection at $339 including oil change, wireless door lock, third brake light assembly, marker bulbs, wiper blades, battery, polish entire car and resecure driver door inner panel – details set out on EPL’s work order included in the gallery. Most recent maintenance was an inspection and maintenance package as well as an oil change at Baywest Toyota of Owen Sound, July 2023 about 2,000 km ago; speedometer and odometer repair in October 2023 – seller estimates that 100 km were driven with a non-functional odometer, plausible with the supplied work orders in the gallery; then a battery test and headlight buff in March 2024 at the same dealership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through the four-speed automatic transmission featuring overdrive. Underside photos are presented in our gallery. The Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage along with history in British Columbia and Ontario. It is supplemented by an incident-free ICBC report covering claims while the cars was registered in BC (none). Several videos including start-up and driving footage also appear below.
