22 km 2015 Ford Mustang GT 50 Year Limited Edition 6-Speed Manual with Ford Warranty

Here is a delivery-miles-only 22 km 2015 Ford Mustang GT 50 Year Limited Edition with Ford Warranty remaining. The retail delivery date was December 30, 2016, and an eight-year extended warranty was optioned at that time so the car has coverage through Ford of Canada through this year, with a 60,000 km maximum. The 2015 not only marked 50 years since the first model year Mustang in 1965, released in 1964 just as this was manufactured in 2014, it is also the first year of the S550 generation – the first to offer independent rear suspension on the full line of Mustangs. These Limited Edition coupes to commemorate the Mustang’s 50-year anniversary are numbered cars; this GT coupe is #810 of 1,964 units produced. With fewer than 22 km travelled, this GT is finished in Wimbledon White over Cashmere and black leather upholstery. There is a 5.0-litre V8 under hood which is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, louver-style rear quarter windows, chrome taillight and window trim, Brembo front brake calipers, 19″ wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and cooled power-adjustable front bucket seats, a 12-speaker stereo system and MyFordTouch infotainment with voice-activated navigation.

The 50 Year Limited Edition Mustangs were offered in two colours only. This and transmission were the only choices in the 50 Year Limited Edition cars, they are outfitted with every option available for 2015. This example wears its original Wimbledon White paint (Ford code N4), the colour another nod to early Mustang – Mustang #0001 in 1964 was Wimbledon White, and the colour is only on the Limited Edition cars for 2015. Chrome trim on side glass, grille and taillight bezels, whose indicators execute sequential illumination, differentiates it from other 2015 Mustangs. There is a rear-view camera, louvered rear side windows, LED taillights, HID headlights, fog lights and a GT 50 Years badge on the decklid further the exterior appointments. Reflecting the unused nature of this car, some factory decals remain on the exterior.

The aluminum wheels measure 19” and show five Y-spokes with painted pockets. Pirelli P-Zero tires are mounted, 255/40 and 275/40, front and rear, on 9”- and 9-1/2”-wide wheels, respectively. Underneath are disc brakes at all four corners with ABS control and Brembo calipers up front. The Brembos and P-Zeros are an indication of the 2015’s Performance Pack while AdvanceTrac traction control is equipped and can be disengaged. The three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with conspicuous Mustang logo is leather wrapped with contrasting cashmere stitch. It fronts two large round gauges: an 8000 RPM tachometer with 6500 RPM red line and incorporated coolant temperature gauge as well as a 260 km/h speedometer, reflective of a Canadian market car, with incorporated fuel gauge. In between is a configurable digital display. The six-digit odometer fixed into the digital display shows under 22 kilometres. The centre stack is home to the larger display for the MyFord Touch system, a push-button start, then switches for four-way flashers, traction control, heated steering wheel and a mode switch. Power outlets and a Kicker logo appear just below the switches.

Seating surfaces retain factory plastic for an all-but-unused condition. Leather is black with Cashmere-coloured inserts. Contrasting cashmere stitch consistent with the steering wheel’s is also employed on the seats, the instrument panel, shifter boot, centre arm rest and door inserts. Front bucket seats contain embossing to commemorate the 50 Years of Mustang on the backs and are powered, heated as well as cooled. The rear bench offers two seat belts and a consistent black-and-cashmere colour scheme. Limited Edition cars are equipped with loop-carpet floor mats with cashmere stitching and suede binding not available on other Mustangs. Part of the aluminum trim on the dashboard is a plaque signed by still-Ford Chairman Bill Ford designating this example as #810 of 1964 50 Year Limited Edition cars. Other cabin features include automatic climate control with dual zones, cruise control and a 12-speaker stereo system connected to the MyFord Touch system.

A Coyote V8 engine lurks up front. This was factory rated at 435 horsepower achieved at 6500 RPM, complemented by 400 lb-ft. of torque, experienced at 4250. Employing rear drive, the power is delivered by a six-speed manual transmission assisted by a limited slip differential.

The original window sticker will be included with the car. It shows a total MSRP of $54,749, approximately $68,000 in today’s dollars using the increase in the CPI from January 2015 to January 2024. Included are the factory literature and accessories that came with the car, including a unique owner’s guide in a leather portfolio with the 50 Year badge on the outside.
