14K mile 1987 Ferrari Testarossa 5-Speed Manual
Here is a 1987 Ferrari Testarossa 5-Speed Manual finished in Rosso Corsa (“race red”, translated from Italian) over a Beige Connolly leather interior. It is powered by a rear mid-mounted 4.9 litre flat-12 engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission getting power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. It wears original staggered 16-inch Cromodora wheels with Ferrari stamping. This Testarossa was factory-equipped with a gated shifter, air conditioning, power windows and retractable headlights. The car is a US market model and has been in Canada since 2005 and with the current owner since 2008. This owner had extensive refresh mechanical work carried out in Autumn 2024, under 50 miles ago. This 14K mile Testarossa is being offered by the 17-year owner with factory documents in original leather Ferrari attachés, maintenance records, clean Carfax, two sets of keys, tool kit, spare tire change kit, Hugger brand car cover and an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate.
The three-spoke OEM steering wheel by Momo (as inscribed in the middle spoke) with tilt function fronts instrumentation by Veglia Borletti, primary gauges being a 200 MPH / 320 km/h speedometer and 10000 RPM tachometer with 6800 RPM redline. There is a six digit odometer reading under 14,000 miles. Between the two are readouts for oil pressure and coolant temperature, complemented by a fuel gauge and oil temperature gauges in the centre stack topped by an LED clock by Vegliaflash Borletti. Controls for power windows, power mirrors and HVAC systems are in the console.

CCC Buy-It-Now Lot price $250,000 + Buyer Premium (Taxable)
The body was designed by Pininfarina to critical acclaim. It features retractable headlights, side strakes leading to air intakes, two mufflers each with dual exits, twin exterior side mirrors and rocker panels finished in contrasting black. There are two depressions in body work not affecting paint, both on the driver’s side quarter panel. While difficult to capture with a camera, we have included photographs in the gallery.
Silver-finished original Cromodora 16” wheels remain in place. They are a staggered set-up, 8” wide up front and 10” aft of the V12. Goodyear Eagle VR50 tires are believed original and measure 225/50 fore of the cabin and 255/50 in the rear. Underneath at all four corners is a set of vented discs. There is a space-saver spare in the front compartment, where loose carpet needs to be re-glued.
Inside, beige Connolly leather covers the two bucket seats with Ferrari insignia-embossed head rests, door cards and dashboard. Under a dedicated door, there is an updated JVC head unit with removable faceplate. Motorized seat belts per the period US standard are in place, there are photos of all three points for both driver and passenger in our gallery. Central in the cabin is the hallowed gated shifter sending driver gear selection for the five-speed manual transmission. Other interior features include recently serviced air conditioning, power windows, a rear defroster, leather straps for the parcel shelf and leather document pouches outside of the seats. A protective set of heavy carpeted mats protect the beige original carpets placed underneath occupants’ feet. There are leather imperfections on the driver’s seat bolster and emergency brake housing, as set out in our gallery.

The mid rear-mounted flat-12 cylinder 48-valve Tipo engine was factory-rated at 385 horsepower (6300 RPM), with 361 lb.-ft. of torque at 4500 RPM. This Ferrari has been treated to extensive engine-out servicing in autumn 2024, under 50 miles ago: belt service, spark plugs, new clutch, air conditioning and brake fluid flush – this is set out on the clean Carfax, linked in “CCC Vital Info”. Removed parts are photographed in the gallery and available to the new owner. The power goes to the rear axle via the 5-speed manual transmission with gated shifter and limited-slip differential.
This 1987 Ferrari Testarossa 5-Speed Manual with under 14,000 miles is available from the 17-year owner with Hugger car cover, two sets of keys, tool kit, spare tire change kit, Ferrari literature in original leather attaches, maintenance records, clean Carfax and Ontario safety standards certificate in Hamilton, Ontario.
