2014 Audi S5 Quattro Progressiv 3.0T

Here is a 2014 Audi S5 Quattro Progressiv 3.0T with lots of power on offer from the supercharged V6.  The Progressiv package offers a comprehensive list of exterior features:  18-inch wheels, sunroof, heated mirrors, automatic headlights and wipers, Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights.  The 3.0T supercharged engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.  As implied by the famous Audi Quattro moniker, all four wheels are powered.  This B8 S5 has travelled 157,000 km and is offered with a separate set of winter tires, owner’s manual, some service records, Carfax report, valet key and one main key.  The current owner purchased in 2019, when the odometer read approximately 50,000 km.  During current ownership, the car was driven one winter, 2020-2021.

The exterior is finished in Monsoon Gray Metallic and complemented by black trim, “V6T” fender badges, red trimmed S5 badges front and rear; as well as the familiar four-ring Audi insignia. Additional equipment includes xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, and quad exhaust tips.  Windows are tinted.  Owner notes that the driver’s side mirror indicator light is non-functional.  For Ontario buyers, this is the only item known that may be an item for an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate inspection.

On the inside, Nappa leather sport seats with heat and power adjustment for the front seats are on offer. Push-button start is equipped as are Audi drive select to adjust suspension settings, throttle response and the automatic’s shift points. It has a 10-speaker stereo with satellite radio.  Navigation and Bluetooth are also featured as part of the infotainment system.

The 18” OEM five double-spoke wheels remain in good condition with minor marks on one wheel.  Cooper tires are installed, showing 2021 date codes.  Tire size is 245/40R18 and the tires are W-speed rated.  The car also comes with a set of unmounted winter tires, which have been used one season.  The car is equipped with electromechanical speed-sensitive power steering as well as S-specific sport suspension – controlled from the cockpit – and braking systems.  Photo gallery shows a clean underside.

Further amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, Audi side assist, three-zone automatic climate control, and the Audi MMI Navigation Plus Package, which includes voice control, a color information display, and a parking system with a rear-view camera.  Trunk is clean and holds a space-saver spare tire.

The flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel has a sporty three-spoke appearance and is equipped with adjustable tilt and telescopic control.   Controls for the infotainment system are integrated into the horizontal spokes.  It fronts instrumentation with 8000 RPM tachometer (6200 RPM redline) and 300 km/h speedometer.  Analog water temperature and fuel level gauges bookend these, with other gauges incorporated digitally.

The supercharged 3.0 litre V6 is supercharged and was rated at 333 horsepower (5500 RPM) coming out of the factory, with an even 325 lb. ft of torque (2900 RPM).  Recent service on the car includes front driver side wheel bearing, an oil change, an air intake system flush and transmission flush.  Further service is described on the Carfax’s 20 service records.  Carfax shows claims not related to structural damage.  Front bumper was replaced during prior ownership.  The others were side swipes former involved panel replacement, latter was when the car was parked – both driver’s side.
