1996 Acura NSX-T 5-Speed Manual

dannyjf1 (Burlington, On): Seller of the 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe with 3.6L 993 Andial Engine, RS and Club Sport Appointments 6-Speed Manual – Inspected

“My overall experience has been very positive. I think that CCC represented my car to its best and cared to point out why the car was so special. CCC even went to lengths to understand why I insisted that the ANDIAL Engine was indeed very special by researching and understanding what made this brand and why it was a huge selling point to the car. This is a stark contrast to Bring a Trailer, with whom I listed earlier and where the car did not make reserve, which never cared to really do much of anything for the car.  The money I spent with it was a complete waste and its tone was consistently condescending with the ‘we know better’ attitude, it misrepresented the car grossly and it did not even meet a very modest reserve. Its ‘white glove service’ which I paid for, was a waste of money and by comparison CCC did way more than the ‘white glove service” without any cost.

“It was easy and personal.  I felt appreciated.  CCC worked with my schedule. With BaT, I had to work on theirs.

“I appreciated the detail presented and understanding CCC gained about the car. I was allowed to be a participant in the sale instead of being an adversary of the ‘writer’ at BaT.

I absolutely and without hesitation recommend CCC to others.  If in the future, I decide to use such a service again it will only be with CCC – especially here in Canada.”

CCC reply:  This car finishes 2024 as the highest-value car we have yet sold, and by a seller in Canada who was not well-served by one of the biggies south of the border.  This is the original M.O. and inspiration for our business and website:  a marketplace for upscale cars in Canada, not having to rely on heavy American influence.  We see the evidence over and over:  “the Americans are not coming here for our cars” – and have sold many that didn’t sell in the U.S., each time sparking a Eureka moment for the seller.  We are in a different market.  Thank you for your trust and congrats on the sale, @dannyjf1.

49K km One Family Owned 1991 Ferrari 348 tb 5-Speed Gated Manual

928Guy (Burlington, On): Seller of the 49K km One Family Owned 1991 Ferrari 348 tb 5-Speed Gated Manual – Inspected

“Collector Car Canada worked hard and succeeded in finding a buyer for this car.
“The company rep. walked me thru the process and answered all my questions.
“The collectorcarcanada.ca website found a buyer without me having to advertise.
“I would recommend this marketing tool to those people who are thinking of selling a high-value collector vehicle.”

CCC reply:  Our first Ferrari listed, so we are one-for-one.  This was an exciting car to list, there is just something about a Rosso Corsa (race red) Ferrari.  Our first Ferrari, we did not meet the reserve during the auction but given a couple of weeks, found a buyer willing to pay this price and all walked away happy.  Thank you for your trust, @928Guy.

1996 Acura NSX-T 5-Speed Manual

Ron1999 (Washington DC, USA): Buyer of the 1996 Acura NSX-T 5-Speed Manual

“I recently purchased a 1996 Acura NSX-T through Collector Car Canada, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The bidding process was thrilling, and although the reserve price wasn’t met, I was able to work with the site admins to negotiate a successful purchase within a couple of hours of auction-end. Collector Car Canada’s site representative was incredibly helpful, communicative, and ensured everything went smoothly.

“Being based in the U.S., the favorable exchange rate worked in my favor, and I was thrilled with the deal I got. When I flew from Washington D.C. to Toronto to pick up the car, Collector Car Canada was even present to facilitate the handover. The car exceeded my expectations, perfectly matching the website’s presentation.

“Crossing the border back into the U.S. was also hassle-free, making the entire experience both exciting and seamless. I highly recommend Collector Car Canada for their professionalism and dedication.”

CCC reply:  This car was at the time the highest-value car we had sold (a corporate record since smashed), and by a repeat seller who lives very close to our office.  We don’t claim to attend every delivery!  But in this instance, all of the stars aligned.  Thank you and it was a pleasure to meet you in person, @Ron1999.

Stangsgalore (Rockwood, On): Seller of the 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible 6-Speed Manual

“I have now sold two Mustangs with Collector Car Canada. Collector Car Canada made the process easy. When you use the service, take advantage of their offer to take the photos & videos. It will be your only expense as the seller and well worth it. Collector Car Canada made it easy to list. Both my cars sold after the auction close in very short order. Collector Car Canada’s knowledge of the auto industry and its buying habits was impressive and spot on. I would definitely use this service again and recommend it to all my classic car friends and others needing to sell a vehicle. I took my own photos for one of the cars I sold and I wouldn’t do that again. I appreciate your efforts to keep that cost low to sellers.”

CCC reply:  The photo/video package we offer to Southern and Eastern Ontario sellers is more to ensure we publish the photos and videos our bidders demand than a money-maker – as you have surmised, pricing is on a cost-recovery basis.  Thank you @Stangsgalore and we look forward to the next Mustang you sell.  Haven’t you owned about 20, lifetime?  (-:

DeeBee (Guelph, On): Buyer of the 12K km 2016 Ford Mustang Premium Convertible EcoBoost

“A couple friends suggested I should look at a ‘16 Mustang convertible in pristine condition and very low mileage. I got signed up in the auction with ease and found the bidding process smooth (and yes, full of adrenaline).  Collector Car Canada responded to my emails throughout in a very timely way, even though I was on Ireland time!  I subsequently purchased from the Buy-It-Now lot afterward, after connecting with the seller for a test drive. Collector Car Canada was attentive and accommodating for the entire process. A great experience top to bottom!”

CCC reply:  @DeeBee, we are excited for you given your initiation to the collector car world.  #ferrarinext?

“My experience with Collector Car Canada has been excellent. Collector Car Canada exceeded my expectations in helping me sell my car. The initial setup to list a vehicle for auction is very easy to use and manage. I also believe that the videos and podcasts are very well done and excellent components of the auction”.

No Reserve 1950 Ford Prefect 3-Speed Manual

Globaldash (Thunder Bay, On): Buyer of the No Reserve 1950 Ford Prefect 3-Speed Manual

“Collector Car Canada process of auction and winning bid was easy and well communicated during the entire process. Final transaction was accurate and a seamless experience! Great job…”

CCC reply:  Thank you @Globaldash!

Harry (Cambridge, On): Seller of the 12K km 2016 Ford Mustang Premium Convertible EcoBoost

“I was very impressed with the way the sale of my 2016 Mustang Convertible was handled. I had a bit of trouble with the seller submission, however Collector Car Canada helped me through all that. Also, after CCC believed the first set was not ideal, the fact that Collector Car Canada’s photographer came two Sundays in a row to shoot pictures and videos was impressive. When bids started coming in, Collector Car Canada stayed on top of them and notified me each time, I know I was a tough negotiator, but in the end both the purchaser and seller were happy. In view of the above, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to sell their car to use this company.”

CCC reply:  @Harry – we were pleased with the results, too.  #happyharry

1971 MG MGB Roadster 4-Speed Manual

71MGB (Cambridge, On): Seller of the 1971 MG MGB Roadster 4-Speed Manual

I heard about Collector Car Canada from a fellow customer at a mechanic’s shop. Following his recommendation, I contacted Collector Car Canada and we began the process of selling my 1971 MGB. Collector Car Canada was very thorough and informative, guiding me through the process with ease and assurance. They were very professional, (I.E. the listing of my car on the website) and I felt very comfortable communicating with them.

“I really appreciated the frequent interactions which answered my questions and made me feel confident in my decision to use Collector Car Canada. My car sold quickly and effortlessly. I have since then recommended this site to friends and colleagues who are interested in either buying or selling their cars. Honestly, this experience was very positive and I have no hesitation in using it again, should I need it!”

CCC reply:  @71MGB – you had a beautiful car, we knew we would find a buyer.

67K km One Family-Owned 1985 Ford Mustang GT Cobra 5-Speed Manual

Peter via achilles (Mississauga, On): Seller of the 1985 Ford Mustang GT Cobra 5-Speed Manual

“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Collector Car Canada for the service and care I received when I decided to sell my 1985 Ford Mustang GT. This particular car had been in our family since new for 39 years and became a cherished possession for all involved, but like anything, there comes a time when space or cost becomes an issue and you have to let things go to the next caretaker.

“Collector Car Canada was extremely thorough and respectful of my decision. They took the time and care to show the car for the time capsule it was through their extensive photography and videos. This generated not only a lot of interest in the Mustang, but due to the quality of Collector Car Canada’s process, it helped me find a quality person to become the next caretaker of this vehicle. I have every confidence in Collector Car Canada and would not hesitate to recommend Collector Car Canada to anyone who is ready to sell their own collector car.”

CCC reply:  @peter – it is common for a seller to be interested in where his special car goes.  The community we are building is primarily made up of people like you and us:  fellow hobbyists.  As PCA says:  “it’s not just the cars, it’s the people.”

One Family Owned 63K km 1984 Mercedes-Benz 380SL

Antonio106 (Ottawa, On): Seller of the 63K km 1984 Mercedes-Benz 380SL

“I was really happy with Collector Car Canada’s attention to detail, and the absolute valet like service with doing absolutely everything for me. The videos, the handling, the advice, the negotiation with the eventual buyer. It was thoroughly impressive, and unbelievable as a seller that I got such a reach without it hurting my pocketbook. And best of all I got a serious buyer right off the bat, and didn’t have to do the obnoxious back and forth I’ve done on Auto Trader and Facebook Marketplace in the past”.

CCC reply: @Antonio106 – our approach was one of respect for the car’s past, given that it was a prized possession since new of your esteemed late father.  We believe this is the source of the positive experience you articulate, thank you!

1992 Porsche 968 Coupe 6-Speed Manual

Jzjzazaz (Toronto, ON): Buyer of the 1992 Porsche 968 Coupe 6-Speed Manual

39K km 1993 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

BrianS (Annan, ON): Seller of the 39K km 1993 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

“The site is attractively laid out and easy to use. The most important information to a collector is clearly outlined. The number and quality of the photos is impressive and very helpful. Collector Car Canada does a tremendous amount of work researching the vehicle being listed, which is included in there narrative. Collector Car Canada kept us appraised at all times regarding the progress of the auction, and about the bidders. Our Corvette was sold during the expected time frame, and at the agreed upon price. “I highly recommend Collector Car Canada as the premier site to sell your special vehicle.”

Porsche911 (Milton, ON): Buyer of the 1985 Porsche 928S

“My 1st experience purchasing a vehicle online via Collector Car Canada was excellent! Though I was previously familiar (to a degree) with the vehicle prior to auction, Collector Car Canada was invaluable in advising me what type of items may have needed attention, answered many questions, and the purchase of the SHARK was seamless. I’d recommend to anyone both as Seller and Buyer to leverage this excellent platform!”

Windchill (Chelsea, Qc): Buyer of the 75K km 1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata 5-Speed Manual Convertible

“Overall, your site was a wonderful experience. It is very user friendly and easy to use. I like the extensive detail and pictures provided for each car and the fact that the Carfax is already included. I had no issues at all during the buying process, from signing up, to placing a bid and to then confirming the purchase. I also liked that Collector Car Canada gave a follow up call after the bid was over. My experience with your site has been nothing but positive, and I couldn’t recommend it enough!”

1930fordroadster (Ottawa, ON): Seller of the 1930 Ford Model A Roadster Standard 3-Speed Manual Type 40B

“Your guidance is excellent, the outcome was excellent if I needed anything Collector Car Canada was there. I give you a 100% plus.”

RobChamp (Cambridge, ON): Buyer of the 1967 MG MGB GT 4-Speed Manual, Restored

“My recent purchase of a lovely 1967 MGB GT through Collector Car Canada was my first experience with an online car auction. I am pleased to report that the process exceeded my expectations! I was the highest bidder, but the auction closed below the reserve price. I was very impressed that Collector Car Canada called me and helped to negotiate a deal between me and the vendor. A professional and personal service experience!”

1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle 4-Speed Manual Convertible

Mnasr (Toronto, ON): Buyer of the 1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle 4-Speed Manual Convertible

“I have already purchased several cars through Collector Car Canada, and I am satisfied with them. Collector Car Canada and there collaborators are always available, accommodating and serious. I recommend with eyes closed, both for those who buy or those who entrust their car to them.”

Mike (Caledon, ON): Seller of the 1985 Jaguar XJ-S H.E. V12 Coupe

“These guys are the best. Five stars out of five. I thought I knew how to sell my vehicle, but Collector Car Canada took the sales offering to a whole other level, providing a lot of description and context. Very good personalized service and attention to detail and completeness, so as a seller I can say that they are well worth it. The bottom line is, I got a fair price for my vehicle through Collector Car Canada, after unsuccessfully trying for a few years to sell it on my own.”

Christina (Squamish, BC): Seller of the 1957 Buick Super Riviera Hardtop Model 53

“The listing looks great!! You did such a great job!”

VintageRacer (Toronto, ON): Buyer of the 1986 Mercedes Benz 300E

“Collector Car Canada has been my first experience buying a car via online auction. Before this, (it was about 40 years ago) I bought a car at an in-person auction. I have made EBay auction purchases, but I must say that this has been the easiest to set up and bid of any of the other experiences.

I much appreciated seeing all of the excellent pictures which revealed even the most minor flaws in the car and the written description. I have also noticed that the sellers are very willing and able to answer any questions that the bidders may have. The ’86 Mercedes was all that I expected and has been very enjoyable so far.

I’ll continue to haunt the site, looking for something else to add to my little collection. I do not see any noticeable flaws in the Collector Car Canada site or the auctions. Buyers and sellers will most likely be quite happy with the Collector Car Canada experience.”

BeemerMon (Oakville, ON): Buyer of the 1997 Audi A4

“It was a very easy sign up process for the buyers. The pictures of the car were very good and allowed me to view all the details about the car. After I won the auction, Collector Car Canada was very prompt in responding to all my questions.”

Badger M3 (Ottawa, ON): Buyer of the 1998 BMW Z3M Roadster

“I am very pleased with Collector Car Canada, I like the auction aspect and I feel I got the car at a very reasonable price. The resetting of the clock after the last minute bids worked out for me.”

BritishCars (Brampton, ON): Seller of the 1975 Triumph TR6 Convertible 4-speed Manual and the 1984 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign Saloon Project

“You not only went above the call of duty, with the sale, but you were invaluable to me in preparation for the auction details, and showing all your stickhandling skills in working through some challenges. I am glad to have made your acquaintance, more success to Collector Car Canada.”

1984 Porsche 928S

Scrogy (St.Catharines, ON): Seller of the 1984 Porsche 928S and the 1992 Ford F-150 Flare side as well as the buyer of the 1977 Chevrolet Corvette

“I can’t help but recommend working with Collector Car Canada.  In the past two years, I have had three great experiences with the team at Collector Car Canada. Twice selling, once buying.  All three experiences were very fluid and painless. They exceeded my original expectations based on knowledgeable advice from team members..”
